A greeting like that wouldn't do much to console anyone unless you were some idealistic kid. I doubt any college student who just wants a decent job would take this seriously.

The mascot of the book was a cute bunny, not like I was the one against it.

"Okay, let's skip to page 25. You can read the powers information in detail later, I'll sum the main idea for you right now. Normally, we'd analyze the entries in detail together and explore the forums.

The forums definitely piqued my interest. I've never seen any website urls ending with something like ".avimit"! I would definitely explore it -- this concept of an online shelter for a specific group of people to be able to help each other out is very new and thought out, pretty decent for our generation. (Although most would prefer some sort of chatroom and instant messaging nowadays...)

"A magical girl's powers are based on her preferences -- her personality. It's natural for you to experiment with what your outfit will appear the first few times. Once you design the perfect outfit, it won't change until you pick up some new style or something. I know I certainly have changed over the years. You'd gag seeing how frilly my outfit used to be. Now I'm the coolest witch around~.

"Meanwhile, Jav likes wearing some lame hoodie."

"Hey, I fight in comfort." Javor protested.

"Also, shouldn't you be telling Su her powers and ours? The outfit doesn't really matter -- whether she can transform does!"

"Fine, fine, you weren't this impatient before... So... My special ability is energy manipulation. But so is Jav's. But we have different 'terms' in how our powers would behave.

"For example, I can summon certain objects with limits, of course. Look here!" Watermelon pink glowing fluid like forms exuded out of thin air, focusing on the space above her outstretched palm."

In it, materialized a Rubik's Cube that vanquished any remaining pink energy blobs.

My eyes was taken by surprise from a sudden blinding flash of multicolored light -- much brighter than the ghostly glow of her energy.

It was clear, Milica had somehow made the Rubik's Cube into a rainbow lantern.

"And give it special effects." She continued, unfazed. "Using my own 'energy' -- it's your raw magical energy. You don't usually feel it unless you're transforming. Mine is 'free flowing' although temporary. Everything I create with this energy will be absorbed back into my flow of magic. 'Edited' objects lose their special effects. I can recollect the 'used' energy objects and effects at will, because I practiced! The objects have to be within my body's measurements. I can't make more than one per day either."

"Can you hurry up?" Gretchen huffed, wait... Where did she get those goggles from?

They looked like those goggles from weird old-fashioned periods with odd technology that is styled as retro but still aesthetically pleasant. It was the type of style that would show you all the bronze, rust able gears and machinery -- not like the sleek and simple designs of modern technology designs.

The goggles had wing molded out of the sides of the silvery frames holding the reflective, tinted amber glass. The goggles she wore most likely helped shield her precious vision the luminous Rubik's cube.
