Just got have fun; take some pepper spray or something and enjoy yourself, please, for one night," Makayla said

Ugh, I hate you guys," I rolled my eyes, slamming the door shut. Micah and Makayla knew what that meant Siah had given in but regretted it deeply. They knew why Messiah was so shy but vowed since that day to break her out of it.

I rolled over and checked my phone seeing that I had hundreds of notifications telling me happy birthday I replied to them as much as I can and posted a photo.

I got out my bed, and into the shower, after my shower, I put on my Hardy's Warehouse shirt and grabbed my name tag. She left her room and went to her 2015 blue Dodge Charger to do her 12-9 shift; before I pulled off, I looked at my phone and saw Keith Powers liked my Instagram picture and left a comment.

I sent him a message, and we swapped numbers instantly. But still, I wouldn't text him until I got off work

Hey girl, happy birthday," My co-worked said

Thanks! things have been slow today?," I asked

Girl, you know we never slow it's like the first of the month every day," We laughed. Soon as I clocked in the customers started coming to the register with questions, complaints you name it! I honestly can't wait until I can quit this job, but right now I just can't wait until the end of my shift.

Thank god my boss let me off at 8 instead of 9 I was putting the finishing touches on my hair, I checked myself In the mirror, then showed my sisters. I had my hair in a bun, a choker, a white shirt with a pair of fitted jeans, and black heels with my green bomber jacket and gold watch my dad gave me.

Powers: hey baby girl I'm outside. Which door is yours?
Messiah: Uh.. no need to come up. I'm coming down
I walked outside, and Keith stood against the limo with a sort of black panther look, and he looked nice in it.

Hey, I'm Messiah," I said quietly, holding out my hand

Keith, nice to meet you love," He hugged me, He opened the door for me, and I got in while he jogged to the other side and got in beside me. I didn't talk much, and no lie, the silence was uncomfortable as fuck I thought I'd scream.

I um... I'm sorry I'm not talking. I'm just really shy," I tried to fake giggle

It's completely fine I'm Keith Powers, who wouldn't be nervous," He winked

I rolled my eyes at his response. Scoffing cause I knew he'd be one of these celebrities.

What's up?," He asked

For some reason, when I get irritated, I come out of my shyness. For one, I'm just really shy It isn't you or this limo. You play Ronnie DeVoe in one movie and think you're freaking Denzel Washington or something. Now I'm just shy, Keith Powers," I said and sat back in my chair

I'm sorry... I'm not arrogant like you think I am I mean, I was never like this before I got into the industry, but everyone was telling me I was too soft," He sighed

"Sorry"

It's fine. I thought we could go to the Black History Museum," Keith smiled

Sure, I always wanted to go," Messiah looked out the window

Good! I'll make this night as perfect as possible," Keith winked at her making her blush.
