I was at the club with my boys and Messiah and her sisters as I was walking to go dance with her I hear a familiar voice calling me. Turning around it's my ex Kenzie.

Hey Kenzie." I hugged her

Hey stranger long time no speak ." Kenzie said

I know! How's the husband and the daughter?," Keith asked her

Good! Kennedy starts school soon and well you know Kelvin always working," We both chuckle

Kenzie and I was talking for a few more minutes when I looked up I see Algee also Messiah looking over at us then Siah storms out of the club,

Kenzie I gotta go,"He said running off

Kenzie couldn't even say goodbye before I stormed off into the crowd of dancing people. Damn she moves fast when I got to where she was only a drunk Algee was there

What happened?," Keith asked

She saw you with your girlfriend," He slurred

Girlfriend?," I asked

Algee laughed at me and I was two seconds from punching him in his fucking face.

Man I told her that was your shawty ..oops," Algee said taking another shot and walking off

Keith leaves the club in search of Messiah when he couldn't find her back at her dorm or any where on campus he checked the last place he knew.. the busted up dance studio.

I arrived at the studio and heard some music looking in I see Messiah doing some type of spin thingy and I know she gotta be dizzy as fuck! Taking a deep breath I walk in and she doesn't even stop to talk to me.

Cut that back on!," Messiah said after Keith stopped her music

Why did you ditch me like that?," I asked her .. when I asked it came out a little more aggressive then I wanted it to

By the way she posed, her facial expression and the biting of her lip I could tell how I talked turned her on. It made me smirk but I quickly wiped it off;

Why would you let me invite you knowing your girlfriend would be there," Messiah sighed

She's not my girlfriend," I said to her

I see the way you looked at her," Messiah said staring down at her painted white toes

Baby girl please don't," Keith said

Don't what Keith?! You can't have me feeling you and then appear with a girlfriend!," She yelled then covered her mouth

My mind was racing after she said that! Baby girl please don't get shy on me again you just started opening up," Keith said

I should go,"She said trying to push pass me

No Messiah listen there was a million girls in the room and all I see is you none of them has the beauty or the body you have she's not my girlfriend we dated a while back but on my daddy grave she's married and has a child," Keith explained looking her directly in her eyes

I gotta go." Messiah said choked up this time actually leaving

Fuck!," I yelled out hitting the dry rotted wall

Three days." I said to my sisters over the phone

I was just getting in from work and all I wanted do was collapse I had dance practice which was a bust to be the first one and then work long ass hours trying to pay for an apartment. I haven't spoken to Keith or Algee they both kept trying to reach out to me but I just needed to focus on me right now.

Kayla: Siah don't be like that talk to Keith
Micah:Yeah fuck that allergy nigga
I was about to speak  again when there was a knock on my room door looking through the peep hole I realize it's one of my suite mates.

Hey you got a letter from the housing office," She said to me handing me the letter

Thanks," Messiah slammed the door shut

Guys I got a housing letter today I wonder about what I ain't did shit." I say rolling my eyes I start to read the letter and I almost lost my marbles ...

Without another word Messiah hangs up the phone rushing back out in her work clothes over to Florida Hill apartments. When I got there I received my keys and went to my apartment number 37B.

Be careful with that! Mr. Powers will be back anytime," A gay guy said with a Spanish accent said

Excuse me? I'm ...

Dr. Messiah Jackson! So beautiful so natural," He said

um is Keith here?," She asks

No. your fine ass man said he'd be back at 3:30..," He said

Babe, just call me Ray short for Ramon I'm only 25," He laughs

Keith isn't my man," I said

Snatch him before I do! He must really like you because he paid off your deposit and rent," Ray got serious

We stopped talking when we saw Keith getting off the elevator.

Hey beautiful," He kisses her cheek

Ray, my man everything good?." Keith asks walking in

Si papi! Muy beuno! I  leave you to it if you need me I'm in 36A," He skipped off

Keith and Messiah walks into her new home and she's in shocked how beautiful he got it decorated.

You like it?," He asked

Love it.. Why Keith?," she asked

I see how hard you been working at that store and busting your ass to get the money just think of it as a gift," He said

I accepted what he said and just continued to look around my place...

Wow it's mine...," She smiles hard
