The Enchanted Romance

Ch.17

I tap him to stop. He stops then I say something immediately after.

"Your room was the last in the house. We are finally done." I say yelling with happiness. He chuckles.

"My mother said once we finish with the house, we can go to my grandparent's." I say. I start to walk out the door and look back to see James looking around.

"You coming?" I ask. He turns to me.

"Yeah, let's go," he says and began to walk towards me. I step out of the room and see James behind me. We walk through the big hallway in silence. I look behind at James again and he looks around like a child at a candy store. We arrive at the living room.

We are close to the door but I remembered something. The keys, there is only 1 copy. I stop and feel James bump into me. I get out the duplicate spell to make copies of keys. I look around for a small table to place the key and see one by the door. I place the key on the table, repeat the spell and switch words for multiple copies. I finish the spell to hear James clapping. I look at him in an over confident kind of way.

"Impressive. It crazy how fast you learn." James says still clapping. I bow.

"Oh, why thank you." I say. I grab all the keys and open the door. I open it for James as well. I shut it and lock it with my new key.

"So, where is pop pop's house?" James asks. I point to their house. Their house is huge. We began walking to their house. Somehow when I did James's room he is much more quiet. But I don't mind. He is either quiet or perverted/ flirting.

We made it to my grandparents' house. It looks bigger up close. I knock on the door and wait. I turn to James to see him zoning out. I look at my rosary and it is glowing. There is something supernatural close by. I knock once again. A few seconds later someone opens the door. It was grandma.

"Grandma. It's so nice to see you." I yell out while hugging her. She hugs me tighter. She looks at James up and down and smiles.

"Oh, who is this handsome man?" Grandma says while eyeing him. James smiles.

"I'm James. It's nice to meet you, ma'am." James says while kissing my grandmother's hand. I roll my eyes.

"He is renting a room at my house." I say. She turns her head slightly.

"Alright," she says. She looks at me then back at him.

"Isn't he handsome? You two would make a cute couple." My grandma whispers to my ears. I blush.

"No, grandma. He is just a friend." I say to her. She says alright in a mumble.
