The Enchanted Romance

Ch.27

I walk toward the police and Taylor is still shaken. I grab her arm and have her on a comfortable arm hold girlfriends do.

"So we need both sides of the story. Would you like to tell me what happened?" an officer says with his writing pad.

"Okay so she brought me water and then she left to go serve the next table and it were these two men across the room. I was looking because I liked her hair. Then once she was about to go to the kitchen the smaller guy slapped her bottom and she was shaken. At first it was just a little provocative but thought it was nothing so I ignored first," I said that and the guy was writing fast. My excuse for looking at her was her hair style. More like I am straight as a wooden ruler but she is gorgeous.

"Then she stood up for self and once she did, he got up and grabbed her wrist and tried talking her thought the ear. I stood up and walked and asked what the problem was and he shoved me," I say and the two men were surprised and when he wrote it down he circled the word shove.

"So after he shoved me I tried asking again then he sent his jockey to have me also in a wrist hold. Once I asked him nicely to loosen his grip he looked at me stupidly and loosened his grip and I zapped him with my-" I was about to say finger but they can't know that I have powers. I thought of an appearance spell for a high voltage Taser. I checked my pocket and it worked.

"Taser." I say giving the police the Taser. He grabbed a zip lock bag and placed the Taser in it.

"Then the guy turned around to check on me and then he was about to swing at me I dodged and tazed him," I say and he finished writing. He looked at me to continue but was surprised I finished.

"Well it's the exact same story Taylor said. But Taylor didn't mention the Taser. She said she didn't see it," the officer said that was not writing.

"Well the Taser is pretty small to see." I say pointing at the Taser. He examines it and looked at me thinking.

"Okay that seems enough info, we need the security footage. You can send the video to the station tomorrow," he said. We both nod. He got out a business card and began writing on it then handed it to us.

They pick up the guys from the ground and handcuff them. They guys were still knocked out. We watched the two guys get thrown in the car. I walked back to my booth and continued eating my food and Taylor was still staring outside. I stare at her and wonder what she is thinking.

"Taylor!" I yell out, she was startled. She looks at me with eyes tearing up. She wipes them and heads my way.

"Are you okay?" I ask. She nods.

"Let me tell you something to relax. Close your eyes," I say, she obeys.

"Imagine a place where you know you are the most relaxed." I say, this spell is a masking spell where I say something and behind the words it a hidden spell with anything in it. I chose protection, safety and relaxation spell.

"The ocean," she says. She was smiling and seemed relaxed and peaceful.

"Please repeat after me." I say, she was ready.

"I am as steady as the flowing waves," I say. This quote is the masking protection spell that makes only her relax once she repeats twice. The third time was in a voice I didn't recognize. Relaxed.

"That worked a lot. I was having an anxiety attack because of what happened. I don't feel safe or I didn't, because now I am relaxed. Thank you Tiffany," she says. I continue eating and notice that its sunset.
