The Enchanted Romance

Ch.21

We are outside the house and next to the moving van. Rose just walks in the house. My parents are sitting on the living room and see me walk in.

"Who is your friend?" my mom asks.

"A neighbor from across the street. Her name is Rose." I say. Rose walks up to her and gives her a handshake.

"Hello I am Rose," my mom smiled.

"How good. My daughter already has a friend. You are always welcome, Rose," my mom says. We walk off to James's room. We walk in and it was the same the last time I left it. Just a little rustling on the bed. Next to the bed there was a large bookshelf where he has books. There were many books in mystical runes that I don't know of yet. I hope Rose knows of them. I hear her reading he books outload but in a mumbling manner.

"What do you need to find?" I ask. She ignored me or was just too focused to listen. Probably both.

"I can try to help. Doesn't he have like a royal healing book or something." I ask. She looks at me with a 'that's a good idea' face. She goes to the complete bottom of the bookshelf and look. In the middle of the row she grabbed something.

"Found it. Royal health book," she skims the book and looks frustrated. She slams the book in the floor. I was curious.

"What happened?"

"Its empty!" she yells out. She sits on the bed thinking of another idea. I grab the book and look through the book. It was full of things with pictures and translated in English. I had mixed feelings. I was surprised and confused.

"This had a bunch of things, what do you mean?" I ask her. She looks at me dumbfounded.

"You are showing me nothing," she says. She thought once again and came to a final answer.

"You can see the book. . . like for real?!" she asks me almost yelling. I nod a yes.

"But it's a royal book, how can you only see it?" She asks confused. I shrug.

"Find a page with the rainbow flower or a cure page," she says. I obey. I skimmed though it and on the last page I see the colorful pages. I opened it and read through carefully.

"Did you find it? What does it say."

"That its a royal flower, blah blah blah ,cure is magical tea!" I say with excitement.

"INGREDIANTS!" Rose says yelling.

"So one is hot water, the blue part of the flower, and the root of the plant." I say.

"Let's go to the flower," she says. I throw the book and Rose picks it up and then we head to the backyard. I run out and see Rose behind me. I open the back door and once I step out I pushed Rose.

"What are you doing?" she asks a bit angry.

"You can't look at the flower I don't want you hypnotize too." I say. She smiles. I turn around and look at the flower. I pick off the blue petal, and pull off the full flower and snapped off a root. I grabbed the stuff and ran back inside. We ran through the house and stood next to the van. I gave the stuff to Rose and spawned the portal.

We arrived in the house to see James in the same position. I grabbed a mug and boiled hot water. We waited at least five minutes later for the water to soak the leaf and root. I lean against the counter to seeing Rose moving James sitting up. It was funny how focused Rose was. I see the tea again and it was a light blue color. I pick it up and take it to James. I am nervous and scared that I might be doing it wrong. What if this doesn't work and James stayed like this forever. I started tearing up.

"TIFFANY! ITS NOT TIME FOR SADNESS WE GOT TO DO THIS!" Rose yells. She was right. I have to focus so I don't mess this up.
