Newts P.O.V

"Look you don't have to be so nervous Newt, of course Tina will say yes."

Queenie had been lecturing me for the past hour, Tina was at work and Queenie happened to have the day off so she continued to follow me around the case.

"You don't know what," I responded.

I could sense her frustration "right, it's not like I can read her mind or anything."

I turned to face Queenie, she had become an incredibly close friend, I know longer felt extremely awkward or uncomfortable around her.

"Even if she did say yes she would be making a huge mistake."

"You're joking right?" She asked, I shook my head. She sighed "she loves you Newt! I hear it constantly and honestly it's annoying I have to hear about you all day!"

I blushed embarrassed, "sorry," I said

"Will you stop apologizing for things that aren't your fault?" She asked

"Oh right sorr-" I paused catching myself before I made another attempt at an apology.

"Why on earth would you think she would say no anyways?"

I sighed as I started walking towards the fire crabs, "maybe because we haven't dated at all, we've only been friends this entire time. What am I supposed to do? Suddenly say I've fancied her this whole time?"

"You guys practically are dating without the name." She said as she sat on a rock.

"What gives you that idea?" I asked

She sighed "well you guys always hang around each other and you go everywhere together, I mean aren't those dates without calling them dates?"

I picked up a bucket and started filling it with mooncalf pellets, "well if I was a proper gentlemen I suppose I would ask her on a date."

She huffed "since when have you and Tina ever done things the proper way?"

My cheeks burned "we haven't done anything Queenie,"

She laughed "that's not what I was implying."

I rolled my eyes and tried to ignore her as I continued feeding my creatures.

"Newt, she likes you more then a friend, yeah you might surprise her a bit, but she'll be nothing less then thrilled."

I looked down thinking about her words, "I just don't know Queenie, Tina is this high business women, I sit in a case all day with animals, what can I offer her that she doesn't already have?"

Queenie smiled and stood up next to me, "you have something she has always dreamed about! You get to travel the world, she finds your life so much more interesting."

"Really?" I asked

She laughed "do I need to continue so I can prove to you she loves you?"

Those are all just coincidences I thought. This caused Queenie to groan.

"Newt! You're impossible!"

I was about to speak but Queenie cut me off "don't you dare apologize!" She warned.
