#10 part 2

Tina's P.O.V

We were all sitting at the dinner table, I was still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Newt had randomly shown up at my house and brought me to England, I had no regrets though.

"So Tina you work for MACUSA is that right?" Mrs. Scamander asked,

I nodded "Yes I'm an auror there," Theseus looked at me "Really? I am too, for the ministry that is, but if you don't mind me asking how old are you."

I bit my lip "Oh I'm 25."

I watched as Theseus raised his eyebrows at Newt before turning back to me, "I'm impressed, a high working auror at a young age and a women you don't see that everyday."

I smiled, I was proud of what I have accomplished so far in life, but I was a little confused by the looks Newt and Theseus kept giving each other. It was like they were having a conversation with their eyes.

It seems Mrs. Scamander caught on as well "Boys! What are you doing? I can't focus if you two keep glaring or whatever you are doing."

Theseus wife Amanda leaned over to me and whispered, "this happened a lot when I was first engaged to Theseus, but after we were married they stopped and now you're here and they are doing it again." She gave a slight smirk.

What was she implying I wasn't engaged to Newt, I was just more confused. I whispered back "well I can't think of anything I've done to make them start it up again whatever they are doing."

She smiled "Theseus is teasing Newt about you isn't it obvious?"

I looked back at the two of them, why would Theseus tease Newt about me?

"Sorry Mum we were just having a brotherly conversation." Theseus said with a light chuckle.

Newt and I made eye contact and we both blushed at the same time, Amanda giggled at our embarrassment.

We continued eating our dinner, Amanda was barely touching her food, but nobody brought attention to it.

"Well Mrs. Scamander, this was an excellent Christmas Eve dinner you out do yourself every year." Newts father said as he stood up,

"Oh you flatter me to much dear." She said standing up as well,

Everyone took this as an opportunity to leave the table, "uh do you need help with dishes?" I asked,

"Oh you're sweet dear I can see why Newt likes you so much, but no I think I can handle it myself you guys enjoy the rest of your evening."

I blushed at her comment, but nodded and followed everyone else to the living room.

Theseus and Amanda sat on one couch together, I figured I would copy them and sit next to Newt.

I still felt a bit awkward being here not knowing anyone really except Newt.

"So how exactly did you two meet?" Amanda asked,

I laughed "Uh, I arrested him..."

Theseus bust out laughing "what did he do? Let his creatures loose?"
