Milana sat quietly at a table organizing her cards, as usual her mother was drinking at the bar. She sighed and began shuffling her cards, she wanted to see if anything good would happen today. Though she read it as a normal day, she glanced up to see Romeo talking to Macao and she couldn't help but blush. She had a crush on the young boy but lacked confidence in herself, she also believed he liked Wendy. She sighed and curled up in her seat, only to be surprised by someone sitting down beside her. "What's wrong kid?" She glanced up, her gaze locking on crimson orbs. "Nothing Gajeel...I just really need to talk to mom but she seems to get irritated when people bother her while she's drinking." She sighs and looked at the table, she wished she wasn't so shy. "Why don't ya tell me and I'll transfer the message. She doesn't scare me." Milana smiled, Gajeel may seem scary to some but to kids he was just a giant teddy bear. "Well..I really like this boy but... I don't think he even knows I exist and every time I try to speak to him I get nervous.." she leaned forwards and placed her head on the table, she looked up as Gajeel rubbed her back and moved to stand. She watched the older man approach her mom, she could practically feel her mother's scowl as he leaned in to whisper in her ear, she seemed to relax. Cana sat down her barrel and stood, making her way over to her daughter she smiled and sat down. "Hey hun, Gajeel told me what's going on. How about we grab Mira and head home, we'll find a way for you to get the boy's attention."

Time skip 4 years

Milana was in bed crying as her mother rubbed her back, she had caught her boyfriend of 4 years cheating on her. Her mother had just got back from a job so only Gajeel knew and he went to talk to Macao, Cana waited patiently for her daughter to calm down as she sat beside her. "What's wrong sweet heart?" Milana sat up and sniffles a bit, her eyes puffy and red. "I-I was supposed to meet R-romeo at the park for a date... I got there early a-and he was making out w-with Wendy..." she wiped away fresh tears as her mother held her, Cana was humming softly to her. "Let's go to the guild and get milkshakes, I'm sure Mira will understand entirely." Milana gave a hesitant nod, she hoped Gajeel was there just in case.

Time skip 10 years

They had just made it into the guild when Romeo approached, he was wearing an innocent smile. "Hey Mila, what happened to our date?" Milana took a deep breath to steady herself, she glanced towards where Gajeel sat and he gave her a grin and a thumbs up for support. She nods her head and looks to Romeo, she kept her gaze cold. "I saw you with Wendy in the park Romeo, I know you've been cheating on me. It's over." Before he could respond she walked away to sit at the bar beside Gajeel, who after she sat down gave her a pat on the back. Her mother shot him a glare and followed behind her daughter, Romeo was stunned. Turning to see his father sitting with his arms crossed he knew the old man already knew, and he could tell he was in trouble.
