I'm thinking this will be the last chapter...but there will be an epilogue and some bonus chapters.

Chapter 15: Today's the Day

P-Rod's *POV*

"Thank you for flying with us on this beautiful day. Please come back soon," the pilot said, over the intercom.

Everyone got up simultaneously, quickly grabbing their carry-ons.

I still sat in my seat, waiting for the craziness to die down.

Once it was somewhat cleared, I grabbed my bag and walked off the plane.

It's a good thing bought an apartment, before I left with Evans.

I wonder if she made her way back to her old life.

I don't want to cross paths with her again.

I can just imagine what Rayn would do to me if he found out what I did.

For now, I'll just lay low and try to live a normal life.

Man this is going to be difficult.

Evans *POV*

"When are you going to tell Ryan that you're alive?" Jess asks me, laying on my bed.

"Well I need to go pick up my stuff from their house, so I was thinking about calling Gretchen today."

"You should do it now! Things like this can't wait!" She shot up and handed me my phone.

"Okay, okay. Calm down," I clicked on Gretchen's name and waited for her to pick up.

Jess just sat there, looking at me weirdly.

"Hello?"

"Hey it's Evans, when will be the best time to come and get me stuff?"

"Right now. I don't know how long I can keep you a secret. Everytime I see Ryan, I want to tell him about you."

"Okay, I'll get in my car and head your way. I should be there tomorrow morning."

"Okay honey. Talk to you then, bye."

"Wanna go on a little road trip?" I ask, turning towards Jess.

"Well duh. Did you even have to ask?"

"Yeah probably not. I'll go tell my parents what's going on and we can start getting ready. I'll take you to your house, so you can get your things."

"Actually, when we thought you were gone, your parents really needed help. I stayed here for a little bit, just so they could have someone to talk to and help them out. I had extra stuff put in the guest room."

"Well that just makes it easier. Okay, I'll be back," I walk to into my father's office and tell him the plan.

Of course he agrees and Jess and I are on the road to Ryan's house.

To say I was nervous, was an understatement. I was freaking out. He thinks I'm dead. Will he still like me?

So many questions ran though my head. I thought I was going crazy.

"Hey, are you okay?" I look over at Jess, who is wearing a concerned look.

"Yeah I'm okay, just thinking."

"Don't worry about it. He's still going to love you."

"Love?"

"Oh, you never heard him say that. Well at your funeral, he told you that he will always love you."

"Only if I wasn't dead."

"But you're not. You're still here and he is going to be thrilled."

"I can only hope," I say under my breath, putting all my focus on the road again.
---------------------------------------

We didn't stop last night. We kept driving until we were across Ryan's house.

Jess was asleep in the backseat, while I was wide awake thinking about my next move.

I just need to walk up to the door and give it my all.

How hard can it be?
----------------------------------------

The sun shined brightly through the windshield.

I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, having to squint my eyes due to the sun.

"You're finally up! I've been talking to myself for a couple hours now," Jess said, leaning on the center console.

"What time is it?"

"Eleven twenty-six."

"What!? Why didn't you wake me up?"

"I know you didn't get any sleep. I wanted you to have a couple hours."

"Has he left the house or anything?"

"No. No one's left the house."

I let out a sigh and look towards their house.

Today's the day I get my life back, hopefully.

"Okay I'm gonna do it. There's no going back," I say, reaching for my duffle bag.

I slip on a new shirt, brush my hair, put on  perfume, and attempt to brush my teeth.

"We really should have stayed in a hotel. That was weird to watch."

"Yeah, it probably would have been smart," I open the car door but don't get out.

"What's wrong?"

"I'm just scared of what will happen."

"Don't be. Everything will be okay."

I nod in response and get out of the car.

I slowly make my way up to the door, feeling my heart pound with every step.

"I can do this," I say to myself, once I get to the door.

I reach for the door bell, but stop when the door handle moves.

I retract my hand and stand there, watching the door slowly open.

It seems like forever before I see the one person I came here for.

He stops in his tracks, his eyes widening.

"Evans?"

Well that's the end.

I really do hope you enjoyed reading!

Like I said, there will be an epilogue, a couple bonus chapters, and maybe an alternate ending.

I'm sorry if you thought the ending was rushed. I have 7 other books to write.

Please do check out the ones that are up.

Once again, thank you so much for sticking with me and reading!

Love you all!
