"We need to get proper medicine for you, Roar," Liv complains. "How long will it take us to get back to the Tides?"
"About two days, maybe? We have to take a ferry," Roar informs them.
"How about we leave tomorrow? After we had some rest," Aria asks.
"Sure," Liv and Roar say in unison.
Aria laid down away from the fire to give Liv and Roar some privacy. They had a lot to talk about, which Aria understood, but her mind kept wandering to Perry. Was he thinking about her, too, or was he with Brooke or some other girl? Aria shook her head at herself, she was being unreasonable. He loved her, didn't he? She had left the compound without him knowing, but it was for him. He had to know that. Liv glanced over at her while talking to Roar, scenting her temper. She turned away, and started listening to their conversation.
"How are you feeling, Roar?"
"My arm hurts a little."
"No, how are you feeling?"
"Liv, I don't know how I ever let you go. I should have gone after you, I—"
"Shh. I love you, Roar. I love you."
"I love you, too, Olivia," Roar says, his voice breaking.
They were quiet for a while, locked in a tight embrace. Aria closed her eyes as a tear streamed down her cheek. She got up and opened her satchel, taking out the falcon carving Perry gave to her. She held it tight, and thought about everything she wanted to say to Perry.
Perry, I miss you. I'm sorry I left, but I did it for you. I know you can't actually hear me, but I want you to know that Liv and Roar are okay. I hope you're not mad at me. I really miss you. We'll come home soon. I promise you that.
The next morning the three of them set off to go to the ferry. Aria felt like the third wheel the way down the river. Roar and Liv stayed in their room, and if they weren't, they were always together and holding hands. The only company she had was Maverick, a leather-faced man on the ferry, who always called her "ladybug". Later that afternoon, Aria used her Smarteye to contact Soren about everything that happened while with Sable.
"My father has contact with Sable, they are planning on finding the Still Blue. Rev's shutting down. We lost a generator in a storm and it's getting worse. I have Talon, we need you to get us out of here. Hurry, Aria!"

"Aria, what's going on?" Liv yells while shaking Aria out of her trance.
"It's Reverie. It's collapsing. My friends—and Talon..."
"We're docking now. We have to go fast, though. When we get off we run West, towards the Tides, okay?" Roar nods to Aria and Liv.
They grabbed their stuff quickly and head off the dock towards the West. Towards Perry. Towards the Tides.
