Roar and Olivia make their way back to the compound after Perry and Aria rode away towards Reverie. When Liv saw Perry all she wanted to do was run up and hug him, but she couldn't waste any time if it meant life or death for Talon. Butterflies flew around in her stomach as the scents of the woods became more familiar, and the thought of seeing Brooke and the rest of her tribe family grew larger in her mind.

"So," Liv says to Roar, breaking the silence. "How is everybody?"

"Well, Mila got worse after we left and...she passed away. Talon got sick, too, but he's getting medicine in Reverie."

"Oh," Liv looks down and starts twiddling with her fingers.

Roar grabs her shoulder and stops her. "Liv, what's wrong? You seem upset."

"I don't know, Roar. I haven't seen my brother in over a year and now I can't even say anything to him! And it took you a year to finally have the guts to come to the Horns! Maybe that's why I'm upset."

Roar looked down and nodded to himself, clearly a little hurt by the words.

"I didn't mean it to come out that way. I'm just—stressed, that's all."

"No. I get it. You loved Sable, didn't you?"

"What? No, Roar, I love you." Liv looked into his eyes pleadingly, searching for his temper. Cool and blue as ice.

Roar pulled away and continued to walking ahead of her. That's it, she couldn't take it any longer. She ran up to him and placed a quick kiss on his cheek, then ran ahead of him.

"Come and get me!" Liv yelled over her shoulder.

Roar, looking up and realizing she was playing the game they used to play when they were younger, ran after her. Grabbing her and swinging her in his arms he says, "Caught ya, love," and kisses her sweetly on the lips.

This time they walked back to the compound hand in hand, no awkwardness between them anymore. As the tribe comes into sight, Liv stops in her tracks and gasps. She notices how some of the farmlands behind the houses had been scorched and flooded, and Bear and Molly's house collapsed.

Roar, hearing her thoughts, murmurs in her ear, "Don't worry, everyone's okay."

A smile slowly crept to Liv's mouth. She looked up at Roar, who wore the same expression.

"What are you waiting for?" He pushes her in front of him.

"I want to go with you, Roar. Together."

"I love you." He hugged her, quickly kissing her forehead.

They walked to the cookhouse, seeing as it was almost supper. The whole room went quiet as soon as they entered. Whispers and gasps were going around until Brooke shot out of her seat and ran into Liv's arms.

"You're back!" Brooke screams.

"I am. I missed you, Brooke," she scans the room, "I missed all of you."

The whole room cheered and screamed, surrounding Liv in a big group hug. They ate and drank all the Luster they could find; everyone absorbing every word Liv said about her experience with Sable and the Horns. And, of course, some people brought up Aria. Asking how she was and if she was okay. Some comments not as nice as others.

Marron stood up to give a toast. "To Olivia and her return home, and also to Roar for bringing her back. As you all know, tonight is our last night at the compound, and I wish you all the best."

Liv looked over at Roar, "What does he mean last night here?"

"We're moving to the cave by the beach trail because of the Aether storms," he replied, his speech slightly slurred from the Luster.

Brooke motioned Liv to come outside with her, wanting to get away from all the noise. "How are you? I mean, after all that has happened."

"I'm doing surprisingly good, considering the circumstances. Moving to the cave was a surprise to me, though."

"Yeah I thought it would be," Brooke smirked. "I'm guessing you and Roar are doing good?"

"Of course we are, Brooke. We always have. But when he came I thought I might faint, after a year of trying to forget him I was a little overwhelmed."

Liv paused and looked down at the ground.

"And I was scared of what Sable might have done. When I arrived he asked about my friends, so I mentioned Roar and...he must have scented my temper because he said, 'He must be a friend with advantages, then'."

"Did you ever, like, love him? Sable?"

Liv laughed, "Of course not! He was nearly over half my age and had such a squeaky voice it was like he had a scratch in his throat that would never go away."

"Did he ever...kiss you?"

"Well, yeah, we were going to be married so he kind of had to at that point..."

"He had to?"

"How couldn't he? I'm so irresistible!"

They laughed together and headed back inside. Slowly, people started to go back to their houses for the last time. Roar took Liv's hand and headed to Perry and the Six's house. They crawled up to the loft and Liv dozed off to Roar's steady heartbeat against her ear, thinking about if Perry and Aria had found Talon yet.

Author's Note

Hi! I didn't realize this chapter was so long until I got down to this point. Did you like Liv's reunion? It was really fun to write in her sort of POV. I promise Liv and Perry will have a real reunion, dont worry. Also, don't forget to comment/vote/star whatever.

**All characters belong to Veronica Rossi. Again, still don't have her talent...**
