Soon they all arrived back at the cave after Aria had gotten shot and they had rescued Talon, Clara, and some other Dwellers from Reverie. Soren landed and the door opens with a shudder of cool, outside air flowing into the stuffy cargo hold. Brooke is the first one to run out of the opening of the cave, using her keen eyes to search for Clara in the mass of people exiting. Brooke's face lights up as Clara runs up into her arms.

Perry takes Aria's hand. "You ready to try again?"

"Yes. This time we'll be together." He leans down and kisses her in front of everybody. This time he doesn't have to hide his affections.

A flash of blonde catches his eye as Aria pulls away. Liv approaches them.

I'll give you some time alone," Aria remarks as she walks towards the cave, cradling her injured arm from when she was recently shot in Reverie.

"It's been almost a year, Peregrine." She says it so formally it takes Perry a while to respond.

"It has, Olivia. I miss—" She interrupts him as she wraps her arms around his waist and holds him tight.

"I've missed you so, so much, Perry, Aren't you mad? I'm sorry, I'm sorry," Tears start to stream down her face and onto Perry's shirt. She repeats those words over and over...

"Shh. Liv, how could I ever be mad at you? You're my sister. We're family, remember?" A sob escapes Perry's lips and he starts crying, too.

His arms tighten around her, not wanting to end this reunion. She pulls back and wipes away his tears. And then she starts laughing her obnoxious laugh, which draws Perry into laughing as well.

"So, how are you and Aria?"

Perry blushes. "We're good."

"We're good? That's it? I saw your kiss, don't you love her?"

"Of course I love her, Liv. I just...don't know when to tell her."

Liv sarcastically smacks her forehead. "Tell her when you think the time is right. And soon! I was scenting her temper when we were on our way back and she was missing you a lot. I even scented some jealousy!"

They walked back to the cave, bringing up stories from when they were little, talking about Roar; talking about Aria. To Perry, nothing felt as right as that moment with Liv. He knew she belonged with Aria and Roar and Talon and the rest of the Tides instead of being stuck in Sable's grasp. They would have hard times again, but they would always come back together as a family.

Hi, guys! I don't know why I'm writing this if no one reads it! But if you do, should I end it here and write an epilogue, or should I write a few more chapters? Sorry this one was so short. Go tell your friends about it! Also, I have been thinking about writing something involving The Selection series. Should I?
