The Roof

You woke up from the sound of your ringtone. You phone was on the night stand next to your bed so you heard it as clear as day. Your eyes were blurry probably from the massive sleep you had, last night you stayed up till three o'clock which was extremely late for you talking to Lena. You were up playing truth or dare, 21 questions, and other texting games. You saw it was ten o'clock when your eyes cleared up. You had a text from Lena that read, "remember to meet me tonight at 8:30 on the mall rooftop."
You completely forgot about the whole thing. You were to busy hanging out with Lucio, Hanzo, Genji, and Hana. They were your best friends, and it felt nice to have friends like them. In your old neighborhood the closest thing you had to a friend like them was a kid named Jason, who you didn't really talk to. You came from a neighborhood where there were very little kids and you hated everyone of them. They were either annoying or a huge jerk so moving here took an insane learning curve. "At least you have a group of friends to hang out with." You said to yourself in the mirror. You went to the mall yesterday to get some new clothes, so you knew where it was. You were sure that your parents wouldn't want you to sneak out and go hang out with someone on top of a roof, but you made an excuse of going to a sleepover with someone "on the other block who's moving away soon." Your parents didn't really care about the sleepover, you were a teenager and could take care of yourself. You changed out of your pajamas and got into your new clothes. You heard your phone ring again it was Lucio.
"Hey man wanna hang out at the mall with the group were about to go."
"Yeah sure, sounds perfect I need to uh... um get a new jacket..."
"Ummm... alright cool, just bring your own money. See you in a bit."
When Lucio hung up you felt like fait was smiling on you, you had to be at the mall in a few hours anyway, and when the whole group hangs out then you hang out for hours so it worked out perfectly. You didn't really need a new hoodie you just needed an excuse, Lena probably wants to make this thing private. You didn't know what was going to happen, but you knew she would be upset if you didn't go. You grabbed your phone, put it in your pocket and met up with Lucio, Hanzo, Genji, and Hana. You all got to decide where the group would go, Hana and Genji with decided the arcade, Hanzo went with the food court, and Lucio went with the music department. It was your turn, you got to decide where to go before the mall closed at 8:00 which was two hours from now.
"So where will it be Y/N" Hana said with excitement.
"Umm... how about the clothes, I need a new jacket. After that we can go bowling." You said. You got a new cheap jacket and bowled for about an hour and a half. When the mall was closing everyone left but you. You sneaked up to the roof, waiting for Lena. About half an hour passes and there she was climbing up the ladder.
"Y/N! You came!" Lena said running up and giving you a hug.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"Well... I have a week long trip coming up, I'm going snowboarding, I was wondering... if you wanted to... you know come?"
"I would love to, but I haven't snowboarded in years and I have no money..."
"Don't worry about that mate! I have everything covered! They have a two for one deal."
"Well I still feel bad for not paying."
"Well I still feel bad for beating you in capture the flag." She said with a giggle. "Come on mate, please!"
"Alright, alright I'll check with my parents, where is it?"
"About an hour up north."
"I'll check if I still have my board."
"Don't worry about it, they let you use one of your own!"
"Man you really have this covered."
"Yep, well I have to go my parents want me home soon."
"Cheers." You said mocking her you both laughed and went your separate ways when you got back home you told your parents that your "friend that you spent the night with" got sick and you had to leave. You also asked them about the trip which they responded yes, after some convincing of course. Before you knew it, it was Wednesday at 9:00 in the morning. You had to leave soon, you said goodbye to your parents and the group. You went over to Lena'a house. She saw you out the window, ran out the door and got in her car.
"Cheers! Jump on in!"
You got in and was ready for the adventure that was laid out before you two.
