The Drone

You were walking to the store that Gabriel told you to get the drone at. He wanted you to steal it, but since you didn't feel comfortable doing that, you convinced him that you should just buy it. You had the money, and the time since everyone, but Gabriel and Amelie. There was this big party that Lucio was holding, you didn't want to go because you never really liked going to ever party on the block. Gabriel and Amelie didn't go because they wouldn't get along with everyone else. So you had some time, and you felt like there wasn't anything better to do then to go through with this plan of their's. You got to the shop, which had a kid a little older then you working the counter, bored out of his mind he wasn't really paying attention. You walked in, and spotted a few drones. They were all in the same price range, which you could afford. They were cheap, but you didn't need the best model, just something that works. You also didn't want Gabriel to get mad so you called him to see which one he wanted. Luckily he wanted the cheapest one, he told you that they all worked the same way so it didn't matter. You got the drone and ran over to Amelie's. Before you even rang the doorbell she walked out.
"You have the drone?"
"Yeah, Gabriel wanted this one."
"The cheap one?"
"That's what he wanted."
"Hmmm, it'll have to do I guess."
"What's next?"
"I know you weren't very compete about all this, and I'm sorry for that."
"I get the feeling you don't say that often."
"No, I don't. You want to do something?"
"Sure, what is it?"
"Look Gabriel doesn't know about any of this, so let's keep it that way. We are going up North for the weekend. Gabriel and I have a friend, might of met her, Sombra. She's going up there and she is going I work on this drone for us. Your parents are away for a week, right?"
"Yeah."
Well we're going, unless..."
"Unless what?"
"Unless, you don't want to."
She winked and started walking inside.
"Give it some time, think about it."
"Alright I'll tell you tomorrow."
You went back home and called Lucio.
"Hey man, what's up!"
"I'm going away for the weekend."
"With Lena?"
"No with someone else, but if I need help with anything do you have my back?"
"Yeah, what's going on?"
"Do not tell anyone promise?"
"Promise."
"Amelie and I are going up North to Sombra with a drone. That drone will play a prank when school starts."
"Look, I know what's going to happen. Everyone is ok with that prank, it happens every year. I have your back if you need me to come up there, alright."
"Thanks Lucio."
"Anytime."
You hang up the phone and thought about what might happen, it was almost the weekend and halfway through summer break. You always wanted friends, but this was a little too much, in a sort of good way.
