Chapter 12- Fighting Against Ikki and Shiryu has Returned

Hyoga's POV

The crows flew into the clear sky as both me and Ikki are about to fight. Both of us are fighting for the Gold Cloth. "Cygnus... bring it!!," Ikki smirk. I start to attack him with one of my moves. "Take this, Ikki!! *ran towards him* Diamond Dust!!," I shout. I used my move, Diamond Dust, on Ikki and somehow he managed to blocked his attack by using one hand. He then reversed it back to me as I got hit by my own power. I can feel the punch and the cold at the sand time.

*I don't believe it...!!* I thought. Ikki continue to smirk like a evil man and I slam onto the wall. "Cygnus. You called yourself a Saint? You should know that technique seen won't work again." He chuckle while staring at me when I'm on my butt. "You're still hung up with that ghost of your dead rotting mother aren't you?! You're just a loser," he said. "You... You shut up!!," I said, a bit nervous. The wind blows as I get up onto my feet again. "How'd you know?! Can you read my mind or something?!"

I actually don't know how he know about my dead mother. "Didn't you know Cygnus, idiot? My blow not only can destroy your body, but also your spirit. This next punch leads deeper into your mind and completely blow up away!!" My entire body is shaking as Ikki prepares his attack on me and I quickly prepared myself to attack mode. "The Phantom... Devil!!" I wasn't even ready for that and he power struck right into my brain.

I stood there, frozenly like a statue, as my memories terrorized through my mind. *Ma... mama...!! Mama!!* I cry.

Memories

My memories went back into the past in the sunken ship in Eastern Siberia as me meeting my mom in her bed with a rose in my mouth. I swam up the body and place the rose on her hair and pray. After I'm done, I get up and was about to leave until the door broke open and everything else starts to crumble. "Mama!!," I said.

When I turn to look, she just turned into a freakish monster.

Memories ended

I scream, holding my head, and shaking it from side to side, not trying to see it. Then I fell onto my knees. "Now you know the horror of the Phantom Devil," Ikki laughs. I'm still having this stuck in my head while in tears, possibly. After the whole ordeal, I'm not really happy about it at all. "Ikki...!!," I growl. Ikki gasp all of the sudden.

"You may think you destroy my mind with that blow... but you're dead wrong!! All you did was to spoil the thing that I hold dearest. And make me angrier than I have ever been in my life!!"

"What...?!"

I get up onto my feet again before turning to him. "So get ready...!! Because now I'm gonna kill you!!," I yell angrily,"and it's gonna be fun doing it!!" Ikki was or wasn't satisfied about it as I use my other technique. "Aurora Thunder Attack!!" Aurora Thunder Attack managed to hit him on the spot. Somehow, my visions are blurry a little as I kept my ground and saw him did something, but didn't see it clearly. I fell onto my knees as if that I'm tired from all of that energy and getting hit by Phantom Devil.

When I look, I saw only Ikki's armor on the floor, but where is his body? I walk towards the armor. "No... no way...!!" Ikki then walk right behind me. "I-Ikki...!! But how?!," I said. "I told you. Your techniques won't work on me a second time," he smirk.

"What do you mean?! I've never use that particular attack on you before!!"

"Black Swan use his last bit of strength to contact me. He told me of the technique with this."

He showed me the piece that I just noticed when I fought against Black Swan earlier. No wonder he can dodged my technique without getting hit. "You mean, you know everything?" He chuckle,"Now, you have understand." He toss the swan piece at me and I move aside. As I was about to move, my entire body froze like ice. "You can't move, can you? It's my Phantom Devil. It is destroyed all of your nerves from the top of your head down to your tips of your toes."
