Not many kids had to deal with the things Mak did growing up. Sure everyone's parents fought but Mak her story is very different and before we get into it i'll introduce you to the characters.
Mak is the main character in her own story she's been through a lot.
Kyle is Mak's best friend they have known each other since they were four. He is one of the sweetest guys she knows.
Megan is Mak's most recent best friend they met just over two years ago and they know everything about one another.
Sophie, Mak has known Sophie her entire life just like Kyle but, Sophie is more critical and rides a bit of a high horse.
Laura, Mak just started to get close with Laura in the beginning of the year. She was supposed to be a good person, or so Mak thought, but she gets a glips at her darkside.
These are the main characters in the beginning if your wondering about Matthew he is the new kid starting in the middle of the school year. Matthew or Matt is a genuinely sweet guy but when it comes to Mak he's curious he like a little mystery so to say. Mak is just what he needs, but what will happen when he finds out some of Mak's darkest secrets?
