I slowly walked out of my house and walked on the wet sidewalk. Puddles from the many days of raining this month, were all over the place. I glanced occasionally around me only to see a couple walking on the other side of the street. They seemed to be my age and were in a deep conversation, so I didn't have to worry much, but it still didn't stop me from frantically looking around in fear of finding someone staring at me from a far distance. I shivered at the thought as I began to speed walk to school. My phone began to vibrate, signaling it was him. I tighten my grip on my backpack straps and broke out into sprint, hearing running footsteps other than my fast beating heart. 'Must be my imagination.' I thought as I glanced back to find no one there.
I hunched over as I stood in front of my school, Spot View High, and caught my breath. My ➡color⬅ hair covered my view as I put my head down and took shallow breaths.
I stood straight, moving my ➡color⬅hair with my shaking fingers and I proceeded to walk into the big brick building, heading to my locker to occupy my time.
As I stood in front of my opened locker, a cold chill ran up my spine. I froze as I was afraid to turn around. 'What if he's here?!' Kept running through my mind as I felt a strong gaze on me. I jumped as a locker swung shut with great force, filling the crowded hallway with the sudden noise. It took me a while to take in that it was my locker that was slammed shut. My gaze moved up to see a familiar brunette that happened to be with a group of other girls. "Good morning ➡Name⬅." They said tauntingly as they snickered at my name. I rolled my eyes as I ignored their presence and I opened my locker again, taking my books out but screamed in pain as the door was slammed on my hand. I stared wide eyes at the girls and bit my lip from crying as the tears were beginning to build up. They watched me with big smirks. I turned back to my locker as I quickly took my hand out and held my books and injured hand closely to my chest and began to walk away, making my way through the crowded people around us.
I let out a squeak as I was strongly tugged by my hair back with brute force. I fell back and was then being laughed at by others. I clenched my hands as I slowly stood up and tried walking away, but to my dismay, someone slapped the books upwards, the hardcovers hitting my face very hard and then falling onto the ground. I whimpered as I covered my nose, which hurt at the moment, as I put my head down. My hair fell forward, covering my face that was turning red from embarrassment as the laughter grew louder by the second. "Hey, we're talking to you." Someone mockingly said.
I bit my lip as I was suddenly kicked from behind and fell on the floor. My face began to heat up even more as I laid on the floor now.
I slowly sat up and that's when the bell rang. I let out a sigh of relief and picked up my books from the ground as the crowd began to disperse into there class. On my knees, I looked up and looked pass the many moving feet as I met with someone's gaze.
I couldn't tell much of the person other than that they wore black pants, a white sweater with the hood up, and they had long, wild black hair. He slowly walked over to me and we started at each other. As I looked closely, his black hair covered his whole face, making it hard to see anything other than a little bit of his face.
"You alright?" He said in a voice that was a bit deep and full of concern. "Um... Y-Yeah." I stuttered as he reached out a pale white hand which I hesitantly took. "Here, let me take you to the nurse." He said as he led the way. I quietly followed him and blushed as he grabbed my hand.
