Sakura was packing her bag, she was moving faster than ever. 'Why would they kill 10 ninjas and not invade the sand village? Is it a warning or something? No. It has to mean something. But what, what does it mean?' Sakura kept thinking about the killings and what they could mean and why the Akatsuki might have done it. When she got to the gates and realized that she was the first person she there, she threw her bag down and sat on the ground. Sakura went into even a deeper thought about the mission.

Shikimaru saw Sakura at the gates. He saw that she was sitting on the ground with her eyes closed. He knew she wasn't sleeping, he knew her better than that, so instead of disturbing her he sat on the ground about 2-3 feet away from her. When Shikimaru looked back at Sakura he saw that she looked a bit stressed out and was curious about what she was thinking.
"Sakura."
Sakura opened her eyes and looked at Shikimaru. "Yes?"
"What are you thinking about?"
"Nothing really."
"Don't lie"
Sakura sighed. "I was thinking about the Akatsuki and why they killed those 10 ninjas. I mean they killed them for a reason, right? And I want to know what their reason is."
Shikimaru stayed silent for a little bit and then said, "I'm not sure why they killed those 10 ninjas, I was also wondering the same thing."
After a couple seconds of silence they both heard Naruto yell, "Man I'm so hungry!"
After that, they heard Choji hollering, "Me too, I hope we get something to eat before we go!"
"We won't have time to get anything to eat. We need to hurry up and leave." Kakashi said standing behind Sakura.
"Yeah so stop whining. Do you guys have everything?" Asuma said standing behind Shikimaru.
"Yeah." Both Naruto and Choji said looking down at the ground pouting a little.
"K good, then let's go." Kakashi said walking away with Asuma, Shikimaru, Sakura and Sai.
"Wait. We're missing someone." Sai said looking around.
"Yeah your right. Where's Ino?" Asked Choji.
"I don't know. She's probably still packing her bag or saw a "cute" guy and got distracted." Shikimaru said.
"We'll have to wait for her." Kakashi said looking back at the gates.
