Sakura was close to the Sand village and decided to pick up her pace. When she was close enough she disappeared and popped up just inside the village, she looked around and smiled then disappeared quickly to the door of Gaara'a office. She was standing out side his door her hand up ready to knock on the door, she couldn't though, she was scared to but then she heard, "You can come in." She took a deep breathe and opened the door walking in.
He was sitting at his desk, his head down reading paper work till he looked open. "Sakura." He stood up quickly nearly knocking his own chair back wards. He walked to he and stopped a foot away looking at her from head to foot and back. He smiled and walked to her bringing her in for a hug. Sakura tensed up and was looking out the window.
"Hello Gaara."
Gaara could feel how tense she was and was disappointed that she wasn't hugging him back. He pulled away and looked into her eyes. "I'm glad you decided to come."
"About that, why did you want me to come in the first place?"
"We all wanted to make sure you were alright. We were worried about you Sakura."
Sakura starred at Gaara, "Well I'm fine thank you."
Gaara was shocked at how she showed no emotion at all. He looked into her eyes and waited to see if he could get a glimpse of something but sighed in defeat and walked back to his desk. Sakura watched as he walked back his head down and dragging his feet as he went. She knew why he did that though, she knew why all to well. She was purposely hiding her feelings, she wanted him to see how strong and good she has gotten. She wanted him to tell her how great she has become and strong she is. She quickly let happiness fly through her eyes when he looked into her eyes and saw the glint of curiosity go across his features. She smiled and let all her emotions shine, radiating off of her. She walked to him and hugged him from behind. He was surprised but held her arms, he was smiling happy she was hugging him and showing him how she felt. He got back up and hugged her tighter. "I'm really glad your here Sakura."
"Me too."
They stood there hugging each other in silence letting it sink in that she was really in the Sand village.
*Back with the Akatsuki*
"TOBI WANTS SAKU-CHAN BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Tobi yelled sitting on the ground holding his knees to his chest.
"Would you shut the hell up you freak! We all want her back! Un!" Deidara said smacking Tobi on the back of his head.
"BUT TOBI MISS SAKU-CHAN A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"SHUT THE HELL UP YOU FUCKING LOLIPOP FREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" -Hidan
"ALL OF YOU SHUT UP!" Pein said standing in the door way. "Sakura wanted to go, and she left. She will be back, not stop acting like damned kids!"
They all grew silent, "When will she be back?" Konan asked looking up to him.
"I don't know. Whenever she wants to come back." Pein said walking back to his office.
*With Sakura*
Sakura was in the house she was given for the time that she was in the village, she was walking in the living room. She looked around and decided to go and take a shower, she walked to her room and grabbed a towel from the closet and went to the bathroom not closing the door. She took her clothes off and turned the water on and got in, she start to clean her hair and body enjoying the water as it ran down her body. She was almost done rinsing when she heard a floor board creek, she quietly got out of the shower leaving the water running to let the person who ever was in the house think she didn't hear them and wrapped herself in the towel and quietly walked to the living room to find Kankuro pined to the wall by her. she had her arm to his throat and her body was pushing him to the wall. She realized it was him and backed off. "Geez Kankuro, you scared me!"
"Sorry, I didn't know you were taking a shower." -Kankuro
"It's alright, did you need something?" -Sakura
"I was just wondering if you wanted to go out and have dinner with me." -Kankuro
"Just us?" -Sakura
"Yeah." -Kankuro
"Alright let me finish rinsing off, you can sit down and wait in here there's drinks in the fridge, help yourself." Sakura said walking back to the shower.
Kankuro walked to the couch and sat down waiting for her. There was a blush that appeared on his cheeks and he laid his head in his hands. He thought back to Sakura, her body pressing against his, her wet soapy body then he shook his head and leaned back on the couch and took a deep breath and waited.
Sakura turned off the water and went into her room and put on some shorts that went to her knees, they were tight, and black, she put on her tank top, it was also black, it showed some of her stomach, she pulled her hair back into a ponytail. After all that time being with the Akatsuki her hair had grown past her shoulders and was close to the middle of her back. She put on some flip-flops and walked out to the living room to find Kankuro leaning back on the couch. "Sorry to keep you waiting."
"Not at al-" Kankuro stopped mid sentence, he was standing starring at Sakura 'Beautiful.'
"Is there something on my face?"
"No, no."
"Oh, okay, well I'm ready to go." Sakura said walking to the door with Kankuro right behind her. They left enjoying the night together, Sakura not knowing the craziness going on back at the hideout with her gone.
