Sakura looked to Hinata and squinted at her, "Pardon? Want to repeat yourself there? Rather than mutter under your breath and hide behind your shyness like you are."
Hinata looked Sakura up and down then around the room, when her eyes landed on Naruto though standing behind Sakura looked at her with gentle eyes, something she herself never got, she felt her heart clench and annoyance flow through her. What was so great about her anyways? She narrowed her eyes onto Sakura, "Trash" she said clearly, no stutter following behind her speech, "To think you would sleep around to live is sad really, don't you think?"
She saw Naruto behind Sakura look up at her quickly at that statement, now he will notice her? Fine, "Hinata, stop." Neji said stepping up and grabbing her arm.
Hinata pulled her arm away and looked back at Neji quickly, "No, why should we hide our thoughts, she betrayed the village and everyone that cared." She stepped by Ino and crossed her arms just how Ino did and scowled, why does every suddenly want to defend her when just 3 days ago they were talking about how she might be dead, even laughed at the thought that she was probably begging for mercy.
"Hinata thats enough" Naruto said stepping to stand in front of Sakura. "I don't know what has gotten into you but you shouldn't be speaking to Sakura like that." he said glaring towards her.
Hinata huffed, "Oh shut up Naruto! No matter how much you try to defend her or praise her she will never care about you!" Ino said walking up to him, "She pushed you away when we were younger and Sasuke was around, better bet that that hussy would just do it again if he was standing right here in this room. She wouldn't pay you two seconds of a thought, she would stand right by him batting her eye lashes waiting for him take lay in bed."
Sakura felt her blood boiling, ready to grab her kunai to attack Ino, Gaara was standing behind Ino holding her throat his sand hovering around them, "Keep speaking like that and I can promise you, the last thing you will see is my sand as you suffocate." He said quietly his grip tightening as his sand started to wrap around her and cover her mouth. Ino's eyes widened as she felt a small burning sensation grow around her chest, she nodded her head as the sand started to slowly leave her and go back to Gaara. Gaara pulled his hand back as he walked around Hinata standing before her, mere inches from her, "And you, stutter one more word about Sakura and you'll be buried 8 feet under before you could even take your next breath."
Kakashi stepped up and put a hand on either shoulder of Ino and Hinata, "Please forgive them, they are tired from the trip from Konoha, heat is getting to their heads." Before the two could speak Kakashi covered their mouths, "If you are alright with it, I think I'll take them to where we will be staying."
Gaara nodded his head and watched as the three disappeared, he turned to look at Sakura, "Are you alright?"
Sakura looked up to Gaara and nodded her head, "Yes, I'm fine, I couldn't care less about what they have to say, clearly we weren't as close as I had ever thought we were to be." She looked to Naruto and put a hand on his arm getting his attention, "Thank you Naruto, but you didn't have to do that. I would have been able to handle it."
Naruto turned and nodded his head scratching the back of his neck, "Yeah, sorry, old habits die hard you know?"
Sakura nodded her head and looked to Neji who turned to her, "I'm sorry Sakura, I don't know what took over Hinata there, I've never seen her act like that." He said ashamed a bit at the actions of his cousin.
"Its okay, they were both lucky though that Naruto and Gaara stepped in when they did," she said as she slipped the kunai she was holding back into its pocket, something that Kiba noticed.
"Geuss so, especially if you were planning something else." Kiba said going to one of Gaara's windows to open it, then letting Akamaru in.
Sakura smiled as she walked over and started to pet him, "Been a while since I've seen you big guy."
Things in the office seemed to settle down a little more with Ino and Hinata gone, Sakura still felt slightly tense around them. It was Might Guy's idea for them all to go out for lunch to catch up, and that is where Sakura saw that Kakazu and Itachi were out walked through the shops. She felt herself sweating, not sure how everyone would react upon seeing the Akatsuki.
She guided them into a restaurant quickly and they had a peaceful meal, after they were done they walked around the village talking, mostly about what Sakura had missed in the village. When they got closer to her place though, Deidara and Tobi could see the group and Sakura not too far from the building, and not knowing that they were just peacefully talking they hopping out the window and ran up to the group snatching Sakura from them. "What the hell is going on?" Deidara yelled holding Sakura behind him while Tobi clung onto her side petting her head.
"What? You guys, calm down, we were just catching up." Sakura said slapping Tobi's hand and stepping from them to stand in front of them, "And don't be yelling like that, you'll cause a scene that is not needed."
"Deidara-chan and Tobi were just worried about Sakura-chan was all, they didn't want anything to happen to her." Tobi said while rubbing his hand that Sakura had slapped.
Sakura sighed as she looked back, well it wasn't so bad, she does have to admit the one she was most worried about was Hidan, "Who the fuck let these bitches come here?!"
She thought to soon, "Hidan shut up" Sakura said as she turned around and gasped as he was shirtless and had cuts littering his chest, "What the hell Hidan?!" Blood was starting to trail down his chest, children started crying as they ran to their parents who tried to cover their children's eyes and quickly take them in thinking a fight was about to break out. "Cover yourself up for christs sake!" Sakura yelled shoving back towards the house.
"But these fuckers are here, are they bothering you? Want me to kill them and sacrifice them to Jashin-sama? He wouldn't particularly want them but they are a sacrifice non the less." Hidan said not caring about the amount of blood that he was loosing on the public street.
"For fuck sake Hidan if you don't get back in that house and put a shirt on, I'll sacrifice you to Jashin my fucking self!" Sakura said literally kicking his ass to the house as she pinched the bridge of her nose. She turned around and looked at Deidara and Tobi who were standing face to face with the group trying to intimidate them. Sakura sighed, she couldn't expect nothing less, considering she was hurt by one group and the other is now set on doing whatever it takes to keep he safe and guard her like she could even fend off a fly. She walked up to them and grabbed the back of their collar and yanking them dragging them to the house, "And that's enough for you guys, I can handle myself, stop acting like I'm a lost 5 year old Jesus." Sakura pushed them to the door and watched them go into the house before she turned and went back to the group. "Ignore them, you'll find they could be a little more over protective than you guys anyways." They walked more down the street not noticing someone following them from the roof tops.
