Sakura was walking to her room, it was 10 o'clock at night and she wanted to take a shower. She was punching trees in the training grounds for 3 hours and practicing healing techniques. She didn't make dinner and none of the members disturbed her. She was then in front of her door when she was about to open the door she found that she couldn't. She closed her eyes and took a deep breathe and opened her eyes and walked in and went straight to her bathroom and took her shower. While she was standing under the foist she was thinking about what had happened at Kohana. She started to get upset and very depressed. 'Why? Why couldn't I prove to them that I'm not weak?! I surpassed Tsunade in strength and healing. I could kill her if I wanted, I'm not weak?! Why...' Sakura started to cry and was sitting down with her knees to her chest. After 5 minutes she got out of the shower and put on a small black tank top and some black yoga pants that had 'sad' written on the but in red. She walked back into the bathroom and brushed her teeth. When she looked into the mirrow she saw that her eyes were practically blood shot because she was crying so much. She sighed and walked out to the living room and saw that Itachi and Kakazu was still up. When she was about to walk back to her room Itachi called out to her. "Sakura, what you doing still up?"
Sakura turned around and smiled one of her worst fake smiles and said, "I was going to get a cup of water but changed my mind so I'm juct going to go back to my room."
As she was about to turn around Kakazu said, "Why are your eyes so red?" As he was saying that Kakazu and Itachi got up and was walking to her.
"Nothing don't worry about it." She was about to start walking but they grabbed her shoulders and turned her around. They stared into her eyes and they didn't say a word. "Really! Just stop worrying already!" Sakura was looking down then quickly looked back up when she realized she had just held at them. "I'm so sorry. I... I just..." Sakura couldn't continue because then one by one the Akatsuki started to come into the living room.
"What's going on?" Pein asked staring at Kakazu and Itachi.
"Nothing I was being a bitch to them. I'm really sorry guys I..." Sakura didn't finish she looked down at the ground and started to shake. "I... I..." Sakura sobbed and every one tensed and took a step to her. "I'm so pathetic. I cant sleep at night because... Because..." Sakura started to cry so much it was really hard for her to talk. "I... I keep ha*hiccup*ving night mares about how they didn't want me then you guys would show and then I *hiccup* I would try to stand then you would tell me that i was only taken because*hiccup* because you thought that you would have something that was important to Ko*hiccup*hana."
Every body was starring at her shocked, speechless. No one walked up to her or touched her. Then Pein walked up to her and grabbed her wrist when she pulled it away he grabbed it again, tighter this time, and pulled her to his office. Every body else stayed in the living room looking down.
*In Pein's Office*
Pein was standing in front of his desk letting her cry till she said, "Why?" Pein just looked at her.
"I don't know Sakura. I don't know." He stayed where he was then walked to her when he couldn't take it any more and he hugged her. When Sakura felt his arms go around her she tensed up so much that Pein felt it and was a little pissed off that she didn't hug him back but then understood why she would tense up. After a minute she relaxed and leaned against him for support and then flung her arms around him when he was starting to let go of her. She pulled him close and buried her head in his chest. He looked down at her and hugged her back. After a bit he picked her up and went to his room, when he was in side his room, he layed her down in bed and then when she wouldn't let go he layed down by her with a bit of a blush on his face.
After an hour and Pein was sure that she was asleep he got up and went out to the living room and saw them all still stand in there, of course they were in different spots. They all looked at him when he walked in. "How is she?" Konan asked worry all over her face and in her voice.
"Fine she is sleeping now. I'm going to let her sleep in there. You all go to bed now to." Then he left, they were all shocked because no one has ever gone in his room and he has never let any one go in his room.
They all went to their room and went to sleep thinking of Sakura. Pein on the other hand went to his room and was looking at Sakura who was twitching in her sleep and moaning. Sakura then started to shake more and was having tears coming down her face. He quickly got up and went to her and started to rub her head lightly and whispered to her that it was going to be alright and then he layed down by her. She put her head on his chest, he started to blush so hard he was glad she was sleeping but was scared. He didn't want her to hear how fast his heart was beating. Then he was puzzled that he, the leader of an S-rank group of criminals was scared of a small girl hearing his heart beat and his face redden even when she was the cause of it all.
After a while he fell asleep.
*In the Morning*
Sakura started to open her eyes and she looked up to find Pein, she realized that she was practically laying on top of him. She didn't blush or was she embarrassed, she got off of him so smoothly that it was like a cat moving into the shadows. When she was off of him she walked to the kitchen and make a pot of coffee and looked at the time. It was 5 o'clock in the morning, she decided to make breakfast for every one. After a while Tobi came walking in scratching his head. "Hi Saku-chan."
Sakura turned around and smiled at Tobi, "Hi Tobi. Good morning." She turned back around and started cooking again.
Tobi was quiet and walked up behind her then wrapped his arms around her waist, putting his head on her shoulder. He felt her tense up and tightened his grip. "Tobi wants to know if you are alright?"
Sakura was surprised, she looked side ways at him and whispered looking back at the food, "I will be in the future." Tobi sighed mentally and let go before Sasori came walking in.
"Hey, I smell coffee."
"Here." Sakura gave him a cup smiling.
Then one by one they all came walking in with Sakura handing them a cup of coffee smiling. Pein came walking in last, when Sakura was holding out his cup smiling he knew she wasn't alright she was just trying to make them think she was. When he looked up he saw that every one else could tell she wasn't alright and that her smile was a fake and she was doing all of this just so they wouldn't have to worry about her. He looked back at her took the cup and thanked her. She said, "Your welcome. Breakfast will be ready soon you can sit down." She turned around and walked back into the kitchen.
After breakfast while Sakura was finishing up the dishes Itachi walked into the kitchen and looked at Sakura wipe down the counters. He walked up to the island counter, "Sakura?" Sakura turned around and looked at him and smiled.
"Yes?"
"Want to spare with me when your done?"
Sakura was surprised, "Yeah let me change, I'll see you up at the training grounds."
"Alright." They both went their ways. Sakura went to her room and put on a pair of black shorts on that were skin tight and went to mid thigh. She wrapped bandage around her right thigh and put her kunai bag there. Then she wrapped bandage around her chest tightly, then put on an old black sports bra. Over the sports bra she put on a black fishnet top and wrapped her wrists with bandage. She then wrapped her ankles with the bandage and put on short heel shoes. Then she strapped on her pouch that had her shurikens and bombs and antidotes and other things. Then she put on her black gloves and walked out of her room and was on the training grounds in seconds.
"I'm here." Sakura said standing 10 feet away from Itachi. Itachi turned around and almost had a bloody nose. He held back and nodded his head.
"Ready?"
"Yeah. Bring it." She said clutching her fist getting in fighting stance. Sakura smiled a little, Itachi couldn't see it. 'I hope I can finally prove that I'm not weak.'
