"That didn't happen." Sasuke said looking from face to face.\
"It did, and now we need to find her and bring her back." Neji said looking Sasuke in the face.
"I thought this Sakura chick was weak." Karin a red head chick said standing by Sasuke.
"She is, we think the Akatsuki might be holding her to get secrets out of her to attack Kohana." Kiba said.
It was quiet, Sasuke was taking in everything. "Alright, we need to set up camp and get some sleep. We have a lot of ground to cover." Shikimaru said moving to a clearing. Every one followed and set camp up.
*Sakura and Madara*
"Food taste pretty good for camp fire cooking." Madara said sitting across from Sakura.
"Hm." Was all Sakura said.
"What's wrong little cherry blossom?"
Sakura looked at Madara. "Why are you pretending to be a idiot? You broke down Kohana your self. You are the strongest shinobi alive."
Madara smiled at her and was then sitting by her in a second. "Thank you for the complement cherry, but right now, all I want to do is sit back and let Pein take charge. I know you agree when I say that he is doing a great job. I mean, he let someone as great as you join." Madara said making Sakura smile a little and look at him.
"Why don't you get some sleep, I'll keep watch first." Sakura said standing up.
"Why thank you, but I'm not that tired."
"I don't care, get in the tent and get rested." Sakura said walking away giving Madara no choice but to go in the tent and sleep. He laughed a little and went in the tent.
Sakura was in a tree watch Madara get in the tent and decided to check the grounds and started jumping. Then after 5 minutes of checking she felt familiar chakra signatures. She froze and masked her Chakra and went in the direction of the chakras and saw them. She froze, unable to move, she started shaking and fell to the ground on her knees when she saw him.
Uchiha Sasuke.
'They actually got him back while I was gone and has him out looking for me?' Sakura sat there motionless till the Uchiha looked her way. Right then she crawled backwards and ran back to camp with her chakra still masked. When she got back her chakra flared and she broke, she started crying.
When Madara felt Sakura's chakra flare he jumped up and grabbed his mask, but when he looked out and saw her kneeling down shaking he looked around and went to her. "Sakura?" When he got closer he heard her crying and taking deep breathes. "Sakura?" Madara knelt down and touched her shoulder and felt her recoil. He grabbed her and brung her close to him. She cried even more and wrapped her arms around him. She fell asleep in his arms, he held on tight to her the whole night.
In the morning when Sakura woke up she was still ion Madara's arms. When she looked up he was looking ahead. "You should go back to the base Sakura."
Sakura sat up, "What? Why?"
"You broke done, I don't mean to be rude, but I don't think you are over what happened before."
Sakura was mad and hurt at the same time. "So you think I'm weak to."
"No Saku-"
"No! You do!" Sakura yelled standing up. "You think I'm weak because I broke down and cried! Well I'm not weak, I am strong! I can take care of myself, I don't need you telling me that I need to go back to the base and be safe or whatever! I'm going to finish this mission and you are not going to tell me to go back to the base again!" Sakura's throat was hurting from yelling and turned to scatter the ashes from the fire. "Take the tent down." Sakura didn't look at Madara a second time. Through the whole mission Sakura didn't talk to Madara again.
When they got back to the base and Sakura reported the mission she went straight to her room and slammed her door shut.
"What's wrong with her?" Sasori asked sitting in the living room.
"Tobi should know, he was on the mission with her." Kisame said looking at Tobi expecting him to yell about the whole thing. But to their surprise he went straight to his room and also closed his door. They all sat their in silence.
"Some thing bad must of really happened, Un." Deidara said looking in the hall way.
"No fucking shit Sherlock." Hidan said.
"Shut up Hidan." Kakazu said.
The room was quiet till Konan came walking out. "Where's Sakura?"
"Her room." Itachi said monotone.
She turned and walked into her room with out knocking. The guys stared and then looked when Pein came walking in. "Sakura?" His voice was strict and serious.
"Room." Was what they all said. Pein too went into Sakura's room without knocking and the door quietly closed. They all sat there waiting. Then Sakura was stomping out of her room.
"Sakura wait!" Pein walked out yelling at her. "Sakura I said to WAIT!" Pein's voice got strict and firm.
Sakura turned on her heel. "Or what." The room went silent and the air became tense.
Pein took a deep breathe and walked up to her slowly and stopped mere inches when his face was in front of hers. "You can be mad at them all you want, but as long as you are staying under my roof and breathe my air and eat my food, you will do as I say. So when I say wait and stop, you wait and stop. Am I understood." Pein waited and when she didn't say anything he grabbed her arm which made the rest of the Akatsuki turn their full attention to the two. "I said 'Am I understood?'"
Sakura pushed her face closer and said firmly, "Yeah, loud and clear, BOSS." Sakura pulled her arm free and walked to the front door.
"Where do you think your going?"
"Out for a walk, I need air that I don't have to regret breathing." She said the last part quietly and slammed the door shut.
Pein sighed and ran his hand through his hair.
"What happened."
Pein turned and looked at his subordinates. "The Kohana ninja's were spotted close by and we told her, she got tense then mad and got up and said she will handle it. I told her no and she walked out to this. Any more questions."
"What happened on the mission? She looked pissed off, like she might of already saw them." Hidan said.
The room was quiet and they all went to Tobi's room.
"Tobi what happened on the mission to Sakura?" Pein asked standing in front of every one.
Tobi looked up, "Saku-chan saw the Kohana ninja's and broke down, she saw Uchiha Sasuke and his new members. Tobi said she should go home but she got mad even madder and continued the mission."
"Pein, don't be mad at her, we need to help her, she is apart of this family. She needs us to lean on and help her through this. She is just blinded with anger, she was betrayed." Konan said getting in front of Pein looking at him.
"I know." Pein looked down and sighed again thinking of how stupid he acted in the living room. "Konan go and get Sakura I need to talk to her."
Konan looked at Pein and nodded. She disappeared leaving the men to go to their rooms while Pein went to his office.
*With Konan*
'I'm coming Sakura. Please don't go and do something you'll regret.' Konan was going after Sakura. She felt her chakra signature and was trying as fast as she could to get to Sakura.
