It’s A B -Day Invitation Not An Invitation to Hit On Me

My friends still haven’t seen me which is good because I still don’t want them to know. Me and Mira went to lots of place the beach being one and we were getting hit on like there was no tomorrow. Today I had to go to school and hand out invitation for Mira’s party. She let me chose my outfit. I decided to go with a summer dress that had red roses flower prints on it, the roses had the green steam that for some reason tied everything together. The rest was whit and black. I also did my own makeup. I wore heel. And I had fun looking for them. I hear the door.. I go down stair and open it.

“Hey Lynn you reading to had out invitations.” I nod.

“How do I look.” I looks at me.

“You look great. Did you send for a professional to do your makeup and pick out your cloths.”

“No. I had fun picking my cloths out and doing my makeup.”

“Girls will be girls.” I laugh because maybe that saying is true.

Once in school all the guys are looking at me with lust and girls are giving me dirty looks. Mira just acts like she sees neither of these things so I decide to do the same. So I do it until lunch comes.

In the cafeteria. Mira get on a table and starts talking. “Ok, everyone knows what time of the year it is.” People scream your birthday. “Yep my birthday. So today I’m saying that anyone who is a Senior will automatically get invited.” I hear all the senior scream. “Yeah so I’m having the squad pass out the invitation to the rest of the people. And me and my best buddy will pass them out to the seniors. So then it starts. I notice the guys are not here yet. I start calling names. Every guy I call asks me out or for my number.

“Jeff.”

“Hello beautiful. Can I do you a favor. Buy you ice cream. Give you a tour. Be your boyfriend.” I roll my eyes at him.

“Sure when pigs fly.”

“They already do. Swine flu.” I chuckle.

“Sorry your not my type.”

“What is your type.” I look him up and down.

“Not you. Gloria.” I called out her name. Then she comes closer. May not all the girls hate me.

“I like the new look Lynn. You look so different.”

“Thanks. You want a new look.” I say looking at her. She very pretty but the way she looks doesn’t show. Oh my god, Mira brainwashed my brain to think like a girl.

“Oh no I don’t have the time for it.”

“Leave it all to me and Mira. I can even buy everything.” Her eyes look at me wide open.

“What I can’t do that. I can buy my things on my own. It’s just I never had friends to do it with.”

“Well now you do.”

“Do you think Mira won’t mind.”

“Of course she won’t. Most people think she a bitch. But she really isn’t. She is only a bitch toward annoying family members. “ I smile and point towards me. She smiles at me.

“Your not annoying. A trouble maker but not annoying.” I chuckle at that.

“True. So for the makeover were meeting after school to set it up ok.” She nods then leaves. “ The rest of hells.” I see my friends come up except for Johnny. That what they call us in school. Even the teachers call us that. I give them the invitation.

“So you go t this school.” Tom asks me. I nod.

“So you left us waiting.” Nate says. I nod.

“Now your playing hard to get.” Gabe said.

“That isn’t nice.” Leo said. I was about to retort when I hear Johnny.

“Hey Lynn when are you going to tell them it you. By the way you look hot.” I giggle. And this time it wasn’t for the fun of it. I did it by accident.

“Hey your just ruined my fun.” I cross my hands over my chest and pout. Really I need to stop acting girly. It not good for my health.

“Wait.” Gabe said.

“No.” Tom said.

“It can’t.” Leo said.

“Be.” Natt said.

“Well it is. Next year I might go emo and dye my hair completely black.” They looked at me as if I were crazy.

“Yep I’m killing Mira.” I look at him my expression confused. “They’re going to start fighting over you.”

“No I don’t think so. This is only going to be for a month. Oh yeah here your invitation.” He doesn’t take it. My other friends are still quiet.

“I’m not going. I don’t want to be any where near her and alcohol.”

“We’re talking about this.”

“Oh come on really. Your acting like such a girl.” I roll my eyes.

“That is because I am one.”

“Fine.” I smile at him.

“Okay I’ll just finish this list and we’ll all talk.” I finished the list. None of the guys were man enough to try and flirt with me while they were here. So I finished it quickly.

I went to get my lunch.

“Hey let me carry that for you.” Tom said.

“No thanks I can carry it myself I always did before.” But he took it from mean and went straight to the table. They all took out chairs for me except Johnny. So I took his chair.

“Hey that was my chair.” I gave him the look and that shut him right up.

“So you guys are really going to keep acting like this.”

“Like what.” They all said together.

“Like loved sick puppies.”

“We’re not acting like that.” They all say together.

“Yes you are. Carrying her tray. Pulling out chairs. You guys don’t treat your girlfriends like that.”

“Oh.” They all say together. “Sorry.”

“And Johnny. I need you to do me a favor.”

“Depends on the favor.”

“Ask Mira out.”

“No.”

“Please.”

“Absolutely not. She hates me.” He looks at me. “Batting your eyelashes won’t work.” I pout. “Neither will that.” I do both. “Fine but if it goes wrong it is all your fault.” I smile.

“Ok. So you love her.”

“No.”

“Liar. I bet you found out who you slept with while drunk and it was her.”

“It was not.”

“Liar. You told us it was her.” Tom says. Johnny looks at him. For now I like this.

“Traitor. You would betray me to anything with a skirt.” I giggle and they sigh. I frown at them.

“You know what. I’m going to class and I will not talk to you guys until you stop panting after me. I don’t like it. You guys are my best friends. And that how I intend to keep it.
