*JAY'S POV*

*LATER THAT NIGHT*

I can't sleep. At all. I wonder if Jade could sleep? All I knew was that I kept playing that video over and over again in my mind. It was so possessing. Maybe it was one of those haunted videos. I hope I don't die from it, because I think I'm starting to like Jade. I know she probably doesn't like me, especially with all of this crap going on. Yet, here I am, sat up, sitting still in the center of my bed, unable to get her out of my head. The way her wavy, golden hair fell midway down her back confused me. How could something so perfect be right in front of me?

*JADE'S POV*

*SAME TIME*

That stupid video is keeping Courtney and I awake. We're just sitting here on opposite ends of the couch, watching TV, eating slightly burnt popcorn, which was pretty disgusting, but I was hungry. So, why stop eating? Courtney started wobbling in her seat. I started laughing, then I dared to ask, "What are you doing?"

"I have to pee, really badly," she replied through her teeth.

"Then you should probably go to the bathroom for that, before our couch gets dyed yellow and reeks of toddler accidents."

"But i was waiting until commercial' i want to see if Ezra and Aria get back together!"

"Oh my goodness, just go; I'll pause it."

Courtney stood from the couch, leaving the napkin she had in her lap behind.

That reminded me of Jay. Amazing Jay. I don't know whether I like him or not. It's kind of hard to tell whether he likes me too. Does he? I bet not. Who would like me? I'm so bitter and mean. Well, I guess I'm not that mean to Jay. I know him. He knows me. The way his straight, black hair wrapped around his face confuses me. How could something so perfect be right in front of me?

My train of thought was interrupted by a knock on the door. I was caught off guard, and a little scared when I thought of who might be at the door this time of night.

Probably just a killer, no biggie.

I opened the door, only to see messy-hair Jay standing on my porch in his blue pajamas. Blue was his favorite color.

"Um..." I said, trying to process.

"Hi," he said, walking straight past me and my plainly confused facial expression.

"Why are you-"

"Can I sleep here?"

...

"Why..?"

"Because, I can't sleep at my house. My parents are away and being by myself is kind of freaking me out right now."

"Oh, yeah okay," I said, looking at the clock, which read 8:37. It wasn't as late as I thought it was. "How did you get here?"

"I just rode my bide."

"In the dark?"

"Wasn't too easy."

Courtney came down the stairs and stared at Jay. "When did bed head get here?"

"A few seconds ago." Jay said.

We stood on grounds of the awkward triangle for a few seconds, until we all split at the same time. Jay split to the kitchen, Courtney split to the kitchen, and I split to the closet to grab some blankets and pillows for Jay and I. Slumber party..?

I came back around to the living room and plopped the pillows on the ground in front of the TV. I sat down, followed by Jay, who had just pulled an unburnt bag of popcorn out of the microwave. I don't get how people do it.

It wasn't long until Courtney practically dragged herself up the stairs to her room, leaving Jay and I alone do sit and drown in our over played movie selections and popcorn crumbs. It wasn't long until we both fell asleep. Guess what I dreamt about?
