After that engagment, I was overwhelmed with happiness. Max and I became closer than ever. But life isn’t all about getting married and finding the right one. It’s also about finding yourself. Why keep yourself in the shadows of your boyfriend, fiance or husband, when you can accomplish so much. So I decided to continue college, and get married after graduating. I wanted to be succesful in my life. I wanted to be known for my hard work. I know that I could fail a lot, but that doesn’t mean that I had to give up. And I decided to never stop growing more and more. To reach success at its fullest. And most importantly, never give up.

Five years later, I finished college and starting working in the industry. Even though Max is rich, I didn’t want all my studies to be wasted. I knew I didn’t need the money. But what I needed was to be succesful. And that’s what I’ll continue achieving.

But besides all that, I finally agreed on getting married. I am twenty-six now, and I did finish school and college. So why wait? As soon as I told Max I was ready, he arranged the perfect wedding for us. We invited our close friends and family to travel with us to France. It was always my dream to do my wedding in Paris, but I never told Max about it. But lucky for me, he wanted to take ideas from Emily about the wedding, so she told him about my dream.

Two months later I saw myself in that plane, heading to France. My love and my best friend were sitting beside me. That feeling when you’re sitting next to the people you love the most is incredibly good. We get to laugh and do stupid things together without anyone judging.

Our first stop was disney land. I love that place and always wanted to visit it. And here I am, visiting it with my loved ones. Then we went to the amusment park. We after headed straight to the hotel cause everyone was so tired. We got to sleep till noon. Then my wedding was going to start after six hours.

Max goes with his boys to get ready. My girls come over my place where the hair stylist joins us. It was as usual, where I do my hair, they do my makeup of course on point, and I get dressed. We then went to our wedding place. it was a garden with white and pink decorations. The flowers all around it were just magnific.

My dad joins me in the back. And we start chatting and laughing. He’s such a funny guy. I love him. I am my daddy’s princess. So he looks at me and says:

- I’ve been waiting for this moment since I used to see you dancing around with your mom’s wedding dress. I knew back then that it was a dream of yours.
- Yeah, i said while laughing. I used to steel it from her closet, wear her earings and put some lipsticks. I ran all around pretending that I was dancing with my groom.
- And now you’re actually gonna do it. I’m so proud of my little girl.
- Thank you daddy! I know I’ve chosen the right guy for me.
- I’m certain of that. Specially that I’ve seen how much he loves you.
- He’s a very good person.
- I know! But still, if he ever hurts you, expect me to be there to teach him a lesson.
- Hahaha! Don’t worry daddy. He won’t.
- Everyone has arrived. Are you ready for me to walk you down the aisle?

I noded my head, so he wraped his arm around mine and we headed straight to the long white carpet. We started walking and I looked around me and saw all my beloved ones. Everyone was there to watch my wedding day. I got to celebrate that day with everyone I love. Then I looked in front of me and I saw Max, looking as handsome as he ever was. But even if he wasn’t that good-looking, I would have married him. I’m in love with his personnality, not his looks.

After getting me to Max, he just kissed me and went back to his place. The ceremony started. Everone was listening to the minister who turned out to be such a funny and good guy. He made us laugh all along the ceremony. When he asked if anyone objects I looked back but no one was there. I checked because I remembered my dream. But back then, I was waiting for someone to object. But this time I’m not. And if anyone had came, I would’ve beaten their asses this time.

The time arrived where the minister makes us do our vows before we continue our party in this fancy restaurant we rented. I was going to wear a short white dress to get loose. I feel immobilized by long dresses. I can’t dance or anything. And I wanted to do whatever I wanted on my big night. But anyway, the minister said:

- Max! Would you have Alexandra to be your wife, for you to cherish and love till the rest of your days?
- I Do!
- Alexandra! Would you have Max to be your husband, for you to cherish and love till the rest of your days?
- I Do!
- Then, I announce you husband and wife! You may now kiss your bride!

Max didn’t believe that the ceremony was finally finished. That we were finally married. And he just screams “WE’RE FINALLY MARRIED!” “KISS ME MY WIFE!” and he hugs me and kisses me passiontly. That’s when I thought, that this time it was worth the wait..
