Going to New York University

Friday

It's friday morning. Jack yells at me, "Josephine wake the f up. Make me breakfast!" "Make your own breakfast Jack." I say. " I don't know how to make breakfast." Jack says. Ugh I think I should get up then. I walk to the kitchen and make us some breakfast. I make scrambled eggs with bacon. "Thanks Josephine" Jack says. "No problem, but I have to hurry now so make sure you don't get in the way." I say. I walk to the bathroom and take a quick shower. When I'm done I walk to the wardrobe and grab a warm sweater and tight skinny high jeans. Then I walk back to the bathroom and put on makeup and do my hair. "Jack I'm ready to go!" I say while putting on my shoes. "Okay I'm ready too." He says.

While walking to school Jack tells me a story about Tyler and him yesterday. It's cute, I wish I had someone to talk about like Jack talks about Tyler. After five minutes we are at school. We walk to our lockers and get rid off the books we don't need for the first three hours. "Which class do you have first?" I ask Jack. "I have management first, you?" He says. "I have philosophy." I say. " Woah that seems like a hard class." Jack says. "No, it's just.... sometimes it's a bit boring 'cause the subject lasts to long." I say. "Okay, I have to go. See you later!" Jack says. " Yeah, bye Jack." "Bye Josephine."

I walk trough the hallways and see Ian standing with his friends. I'm trying not to make eye contact, but he sees me looking. He winks at me. I feel my face turning as red as a tomato. I walk away as fast as possible. I'm finally in my classroom. I wait for the teacher to start. We have a lot of male teachers, most of them are old and boring. I'm glad we also have teachers who are completely the opposite. Mr Watts, my philosophy teacher, is a mix between the two of them. He has a special way of talking. It's interesting but when it lasts to long it gets boring. Today's subject is, the art of dealing with pain. It's difficult but interesting.

"Okay class, the lesson is done. Don't forget to make your homework, and have a nice weekend. See you guys on Tuesday." Mr Watts says. I walk to the door and see Ian standing. What is he doing here?

"Hi mystery girl." Ian says. "First of all, I have a name. Second of all, why are you here?" I ask him. "Technically this is my school too so I can stand wherever I want. I'm here 'cause I wanted to see you." He says with a smirk on his face. "Okay you saw me, you can leave now." I say. "Okay I will 'cause we don't have next class together, so I guess I'll see you later." He says. "Yeah see you later I guess." I say while walking away. Okay what's his problem, he freaks me out. He literally gets on my nerves every time. I'll just go to my next class and think about something that doesn't gets on my nerves.

I have us history now. It's very interesting but I can't keep my concentration on it. It's friday and the only thing I can think of is what I'm going to do this weekend. I should call Caleb after school. Maybe he has some ideas.

*ringggg ringgg*

Finally the bell rings and class is over. I walk to my next class, math, and see Jack. "Heey Jack,  can I sit next to you or is your hot boy going to sit next to you?" I ask teasing. Jack his face is turning as red as a tomato, hahaha. "Hahaha of course you can sit next to me, the first one who sees me always wins." He says laughing. As the class continues Jack tells me what he's going to do after school. "So I got invited to this party, it's at Tyler his house, and I wanted to ask if you want to come with me?" Jack asks me. Should I go or nah, I don't want to be third wheel but a party sound fun! "I don't know jack, I was planning to call Caleb to see if has ideas to do after school, but this party sound fun too. Ill think about it!" I say. "Okay, you won't be third wheel tho." Jack says. Can he read my mind?! "Why won't I be third wheel?" I ask him. "Cause there will be a lot of friends, so yeah maybe after a while you find some great company. " Jack says. "Well okay, I'll just think about it." I say. "Okay!"

I have a break now, so I walk to my locker to get my books for the classes after the break. As I walk trough the hallway I see Ian. "Heey Josephine,  I'm happy to see you again." Ian says while walking up to me. "Hi Ian,  why so happy?" I ask. "Well you're pretty, that always makes me happy. But I didn't came for that. I wanted to ask you something?" He says. "And that is??" I ask. "Well as you probably know, there's this party tonight, I wanted to ask if you want to go with me? As friends... to get to know each other more?" He ask. "I don't know Ian,  maybe I'm going to my brother tonight but I'm not sure. I'll think about it!" I say. "Really?! Uhgum.... I mean o yeah cool, just let me know so I can pick you up." He says. "Yeah of course." I say. "I see that you walk to your locker, should I leave or do you want some company?" Ian says. Honestly he's not such a creep right now, I think I'll should give him a chance. "Yeah sure, I just have to get rid off these books and get my new books. After that we can sit outside if you like, 'cause the weather cleared up." I ask him smiling. "Yeah sure!" He says smiling.

After a while we sit on a bench outside. We talk about everything, school, movies etc. "So where do you live Josephine" Ian asks me. "My dorm is at 12th street, not so far away. You?" I ask. "My dorm is at 24th street, it's a 12 minute ride with the car." He says. "Do you have a car? Jack and I, my roommate, have to walk every morning." I say laughing. "Yeah I have a car, my dad gave it to me before I got here." He says. "What kind of car is it?" I ask. "It's a jeep, my dad is kind of rich so he bought me that expensive car." He says. "Okay, that's lovely. Do you have brothers or sisters?" I ask him. "Yeah my sister is 25, my brother is 23 and my younger brother is 17. Do you have brothers or sisters?" He asks. "Yes, my brother is 21 and my younger brother is 16." I say. "How old are you Josephine?" He asks. "I'm 19, you?" "I just turned 20."He says. "When is your birthday?" I ask. "It's on the 4th of September. When is your birthday?" Ian asks me. "It's on the 16th of April." I say. "Alright then, so I wanted to ask...." Ian starts saying but the bell interrupts him.

*ringggg ringggg*

"I really have to go now, I'll talk to you later." I say to him while standing up. As I stand up and grab my backpack my calculator falls on the ground, I didn't noticed that it fell out of my backpack. "Josephine wait!" Ian screams. "No I really have to go now, see you later!" I scream back.

I have economics now, together with Jack. "Hey Jack!" "Hey Josephine!" Jack says. "How was your day so far?" I ask. "Well, I talked to Tyler about the party, and he suggested that I could crash the night there after the party! If you don't mind?" He says. "Of course not, go get that d!" I say smiling. "Josephine, did you already decided if you come to the party tonight?" He asks. "No not yet. Also Ian asked me to go to the party tonight!" I say. "Wait whut?? The creep Ian?" Jack asks with a face that says 'wtf'. "Yeah, the 'creep' asked me to come with him. He's not such a creep if you know him." I say a little bit defending.

Why am I defending Ian, he's just a friend, nothing special right?

"Well if you say so, I'll give him a chance." Jack says. "Well that's nice..." I say. "But don't expect to much of it!" Jack says. "Hahaha yeah I know." I say laughing.

Before I notice I see that the class is almost over, we're almost free to go!! "Josephine, text me when you know if you're coming to the party! I'm going with Tyler to his house now." Jack says before he leaves the classroom. "Okay I'll text you then!" I say.

As I walk to to my locker I see Ian walking my way. "Heeey Jo!" Ian says smiling. "I guess I have another nickname, hahahah!" I say laughing. "Yup, you've got 2 nicknames, mystery girl & Jo." He says. "Okay, I guess I have to deal with it!" I say. "Yup, you really have to!" He says. "Hahahaha okay I will." I say while I wink at him. "So Josephine, have you already decided if you come to the party with me?" He asks. "No I haven't, I'll text my brother when I'm home. By the way I have to go..." I say. "Ooh okay, I'll talk to you later?" He says. "Yeah, you have my number so just text me!" I say while walking away.

While walking home I text my brother, Caleb.

Caleb

Me: Heey Caleb, did you have plans for tonight or in the weekend?

Caleb: No not yet, why?

Me: There's this party I got invited to, but I didn't answer them 'cause I thought maybe you had plans...

Caleb: Josephine you should've said yes right away, never miss a party girl! Go to that party and make some friends. Xxxx

Me: Okay, I will. Talk to you later. Xxx

I guess I have to let Ian and Jack know that I can come to the party!

Ian

Me: Heeey, it's me, Josephine. I wanted to let you know that I can come to the party.

Ian: Okay, should I pick you up at 10 pm?

Me: Yeah sure, my address is; 12th Street NYC.

Ian: Okay, see you soon. X

Me: Yeah see you later.

Well I didn't expect the x but okay, let's move on. I'll just text Jack.

Jack

Me: Heey, coming to the party, c u tonight! X

Jack: Yassss, c u. X

Yeah, I want to apologize for not writing. I had a lot of things to do and I didn't have any ideas. I hope you guys like it. Xxxxx
