4.15pm,
voices cheery and kind
5.21 in the afternoon,
the call's ended, words lingering in minds
7.03pm,
two shoes are laced, one face has a smile
9.31 in the evening,
the conversation's on hold for a while
11.45pm,
the alarm slices her sleep
11.52 on friday night,
the distance feels real and the heartache feels deep
1.03am,
her eyes sting from the light of her phone
1.04 in the morning,
he is finally alone
1.15am,
it's been over an hour; too long
1.15 on saturday morning,
she falls asleep tired of being strong
