~Hiccup's point of view~
I followed Astrid as she ran inside of the house. The first view that met us was Svein sitting on top of his dear friend Anton. Both of them was laying on the floor by the end of the stairs. They laughed and high fived. Svein's light hair was messy. He looked up when we bursted into the room. "Seriously?" Astrid screamed. She tramped her way towards them. Just as a reflex they jumped up on their feet and into defense position.

"You two are hopeless! You think that since my parents are gone for a couple of days, you two can rule? NO! I won't accept any more of your dumb pranks. This is my house, and my home. You can thank the gods I haven't thrown you out yet! You are impolite and rude. You mess up things all the time and I have to clean up! I'm sick of it! I won't be your Cinderella-housemaid anymore!" She spit the words in their face. "This house better be as shiny as a diamond when I come back tomorrow. She turned on her heels away from the boys. Ready to walk out the door.

Sven and Anton raised their brows and a smile cracked on their
"Okay fine sleeping beauty. Go back to bed and get some sleep girl. It's clearly you need some." Anton laughed at Sven's comment and gave him a fist bump.

Astrid froze. She took a deep breath and turned around on her heels. She walked slowly towards Svein. When she was standing right in front of him, she said something to him but I couldn't quite catch what.

To my surprise, Anton's face got serious. He did not talk back or make a joke, but he nodded. She walked straight out, and I was not far behind.

I looked down at Astrid. Her head was in my lap. We sat by the fire place in my house. She didn't wanna go back to the academy, so I figured we could stay at my place.

Her eyes were closed and her breath was heavy. She was nearly asleep. I studied her face. From her eyelashes to her chin. The flames from made the illusion that her cheeks burned. I stroke my fingers over her skin. From the blond hairline, down by the egde of her eyebrows, all the way down to her cheekbones. They ended up by her lips. I smiled by the thought of the touch of those lips.  I laid down on my back and looked up at the roof. It was quiet and I listened to Astrid breathe.

In.

Out.

In.

Out.

In.

And out.

I felt happiness grow inside of me. I tried to describe the feeling to myself inside my head. This wonderful feeling. No. The feeling of a sunrise after a stormy night. Or the feeling of the sun reflecting on the waves on the sea.  I didn't want ever to forget this moment.

I wondered what Astrid had said to Anton to make him so serious, but one thing was true.

I looked at her.

She really was a sleeping beauty.
