A Day At The Bookstore

Kaneki promised Hinami that he would bring her to the bookstore as soon as he got a free day.

And finally today was the day "Onee-chan!" Hinami shouted (I hope I didn't make her say big sister XD)

"I know Hinami I'm going." Kaneki grabbed his coat and walked out of Anteku holding the young girls hand.

"Oh I'm so excited!" Hinami jumped.

"I'm glad I got you into reading.....It's a good hobby to have." He smiled down at her.

Finally they turned the corner and Hinami went wild. She ran into the store and went through all the shelves. "We can't buy the whole store Hinami so just get one that you like...." He smiled asleep Taking a peek at the bookshelves.

Hinami nodded and went through book after book.

She finally found the one she wanted and ran over to Kaneki "I want to read this one!"

He smiled "Alright bring it up and I'll pay for it." She smiled and skipped over to the lady at the counter.

After buying the book Hinami practically ran home and started on it. While Kaneki stayed downstairs in Anteku.

"She really likes to read now..." Touka pointed out while cleaning a cup.

"Yeah, I hope she will be able to go to school like you." Touka looked up

"I started when I was in high school and they still accepted me in collage so...I think she won't have a problem getting into elementary......We can say.....She moved here.....From.....Somewhere and her parents were poor so they moved her here and left. So now she wants to get an education."

Kaneki looked over surprised "Why do you need a long story?"

"Because people get suspicious......"

"Good point...." He admitted before sitting down and reading his own book.
