@ElisaAckerman Suggested this Arima x Reader. I really didn't know what to do with it...so I made it my own! I hope you enjoy.
Working at the CCG was not an easy thing to be doing. Death, blood, and all the fighting didn't make it any easier for you to work there. But yet you did, and you fought well every single day for one reason.
Him.
He was tall and handsome. His hair was white as snow and his eyes could cut a Ghoul in half with a single look. And you melted at the sight of him.
Ring.
Ring.
Ring.
You picked up the phone next to your desk as you polished your desk.
"Hello?" You asked and listened to the person on the opposite end of the phone line. "I will be right there." You replied and hung up the phone.
'Why would Arima want to talk to me?' You thought as you walked down the hallway. 'Did I do something wrong?'
But you had no time to elaborate on that due to the fact that you were standing right outside his office door a moment later. You took in a deep breath and knocked before you heard him say, "Enter."
You stepped in and gently closed the door behind you. You looked around. His office was definitely larger than yours. It was most likely because he was more important and better trained and had more experience, but still his office was very nice.
"Do you know why I asked you to come into my office?" He said looking up.
"No sir." You replied with a lump in your throat. You could feel your pulse getting faster. You watched as Arima stood up and pushed in his chair.
"It is because I have noticed how distracted you get on the battle field, and I have noticed that the distraction is me." He said crossing his arms.
"Oh?" You said now very nervous. You felt your face heat up and your hands becoming jittery. You felt eyes being pulled to the floor and not being able to look at him.
"This must stop at once." He said placing his hand down on the desk.
"Yes sir," You replied very embarrassed.
"Oh...and (Y/n)?" Arima said just before you were going to walk out.
"Yes?" You replied.
"When your shift is over, if you are still alive, come have coffee with me." He said then sat down in his chair once again.
"O-okay!" You smiled with now a pink tint on your face instead of red.
This was going to be a good day.
I'm sorry that this was a little short! I really didn't have any inspiration on this! Thank you once again for the suggestion and I hope you liked this short story!
