"Wake up sugarplum," I heard someone say, waking me up from my peaceful slumber. Rubbing my eyes, I raised my head from my pillow before staring into my twin brother's eyes with an unamused look.
Ashton is my twin brother and he's the first to come so he always brags about being older than me but really I don't care!
"Morning Ashton, why wake me up at this time?" I asked trying to get why he woke me up.
He shrugged "What else? School!" my eyes widen as I turn over before staring at my phone for a few seconds, noticing that it was around seven-fifteen.
I sighed "Okay I'm up and I'm going to take a shower," I took up my towel and turned to Ashton, Ash for short to come out of my room, he listened and left my room closing the door behind him.
Exactly we all have nicknames.
Amanda-Amy, Ams.
Ashton-Ash, Or how Darren would like to call him Ashes.
Darren- Dare.
Adrian-Adri
Declan- Deck, which is copyrighted by Darren
Grayson-Gray.
Logan-Doesn't have none either
Alexander-Xander, Alex.
Yep, that's our nicknames and I think my own is the best but anyways I finish my morning routine which consists of taking a shower while singing my heart out, brushing my teeth while humming, and trying to find what to wear to school today.
Walking out of the bathroom and into my walking closet, I decided on what I'm going to be wearing, but knowing my brothers, I have little to no freedom to choose whatever I want which sucks so I ended up choosing skinny dark blue jeans, a red striped sweater crop top, and some red canvas.
I headed downstairs and was quickly hit with the sweet aroma of pancakes.
Oh my god, whoever is cooking pancakes, it smells delicious and ready to live in my stomach.
When I peeked my head in, I was surprised when I saw that my dad was the one making them.
"Dad, you can make pancakes?" I asked sitting around the island.
He turned around with a raised eyebrow, "Sweetie, why are you up so early?"
Confused at what he was saying, I turn my head to the clock we had up on the kitchen walls and saw that it was twenty minutes past five.
"But... my phone said it was seven-fifteen.." I said feeling the nerve to march up to Ashton's room and slap him silly.
Dad turned back to the stove and continue cooking his pancakes, letting out a chuckle, "Your brothers are something else, eh?"
"They're monsters, that's what they're." I groaned grabbing an apple from the fruit basket, "By the way, why are you up so early and I never knew you could make pancakes?"
"Whaddya mean? I'm a working man so obviously, I have to be up this early making ya'll breakfast, not even a thank you?"
"Thanks, dad."
"Why don't ya go back to sleep princess?" he told me.
"Once I wake up, there's no going back to sleep," I replied but then a thought quickly crossed my mind. "Later dad," I said to him before hopping off and scurrying back upstairs.
