Once upon a time, I was a naive little girl. Starting my first year in high school, I saw the type of girls who would fawn over their partners and speak of romance and happy endings.
I wanted that, I wanted what they had.
Then, a guy by the name of Michael swooped in and showed me what it was like to fall in 'love'. If only I knew the full meaning of it.
We started 'dating', but behind all the kissing and hugging, it was all just a little facade for he only showed me his 'undying' affection only to use me and throw me away like he did the other girls.
This was the turning point in my life and for my brothers?
They just continue to grow even more protective for they do not want their precious princess to fall into the wrong hands ever again.
"Amanda to earth?" Chelsea waved a hand into my face causing me to snap back into reality. We were in our 6th period after lunch and I couldn't get that feeling of Cloud looking back at me like he did when we pranked Teressa.
Speaking of her, she was pretty much pissed, so pissed that she went on Instagram and posted a story of her fawning over her Mercedes and telling everyone that it costs more than most of our parent's income.
Pretty funny as half of this school's population is just filled with rich kids so I don't think she's going to get any farther.
"She's such a stupid bitch." Chelsea chuckled. "Anyways, what's on your mind girl?" she turned her attention to me.
"I don't know.. I hate to say it but I think I'm in.. love.."
"Girl, being in love is natural."
"But.. but what if he's just what my brothers say h-" Chelsea cut me off by aggressively shh'ing me.
"Now listen up sweetheart, your brothers are idiots, they assume every guy is some girl hopper."
"Hmph, easy for you to say, if I ever told my brothers that they were wrong, they'd probably jump me," I told her while twirling my hair.
"Hypocrites, I tell you," Chelsea said rolling her eyes, "You have Grayson and Xander switching girls like they switch shorts in the changing room."
"Ew do boys actually do that..."
"Girl they're embarrassing creatures..."
While Chelsea and Olivia were making fun of guys, I was too busy in thought wondering if I should actually show my brothers that not all boys are bad.
Cloud isn't one of them, I know that for sure.
"What, you think you know so much about that guy?"
When I got home from school, I decided it was best I discuss my conversation with Chels and Liv to Ashton but now he's just acting smart.
"Ash, you of all people should be encouraging me, supporting me, am I not you guys pretty perfect fragile princess or what?" I asked, crossing my arms.
He rolled his eyes before laying back in bed with a groan, "It's pointless, Ams."
"Pointless? My love for someone isn't just pointless."
"Bruh, you've like met him once, and all of sudden you're madly in love with him?"
He did have a point, I'll give him that.
