Roxanne's POV

It's Saturday. The day of my date. With Rylan. To say I was freaking out was an understatement. I usually don't care to much about what I wear but what if it's somewhere fancy I don't have a lot of clothes I've stopped growing I don't anymore than a few outfits. But Rylan's probably got a whole lot more than a few and I don't have the money to afford anymore clothes. Since he refused to tell me where to go I don't know what to wear and since I don't have a phone I can't call him. Oh gosh! I'll just worry about it later I've got to drop Ash off at mommy Tomasa's anyway.

"Ash come on body we got to go!" I call to him.

"Coming Roxa" he called back to me as he came running from our bedroom. I bend down and pick up the little cutie and place him in my arms.

"Alright lets go," I declare.

"To Mommy Tomasa's," he questions.

"Yup!" I answered popping the p. He yelled yeah pumping his fist into the air as I began to walk towards Mommy Tomasa's house.

I guess your wondering who she is. Well after I left my dad's house I bought two tickets and we rode a bus to a city in Massachusetts. When we arrived we met Alfredo and his grandmother Tomasa Aponte. She took us in since Alfredo already had a lot of kids to support. We stayed with her for about 2 years, but her kids hated us. They finally got fed up with us and had us kicked out Alfredo and Mommy Tomasa did everything they could to make sure we were taken care of. So since then me and Ash have been on our own. To be honest I'm beyond grateful that they were there for us and still are.

I snapped my head up to see the matte black Range Rover of the one and only one Rylan Channigway. What the heck?! What is he doing here?! Ugh! The world just want to make my life difficult! The window rolls down as Rylan sticks his head out.

"Brownie! Ash! What are you guys doing around here you know this isn't the best of neighborhoods." He questioned taking off his sunglasses in the hottest way possible.

"Oh we were just on our way to drop off Sebastian at my grandmother's house why? And what are you doing around here." I responded with another question hoping to change the subject.

"Oh! Um I volunteer at the children's home down the block on Saturday morning," he answered nonchalantly. Gosh! Could he be more perfect. "Hey guys hop in I'll give you lift over there" as the side of his mouth lifts up into a side grin.

"Oh I don't know about tha-" i begin to answer but am immediately cut off by Ash.

"Yeah let's go," Ash answers jumping out of my grasp. "Come one Roxie it would've taken us a long long time to get there by walking so let's go!" I reluctantly begin to walk towards the black car. I open the door as gently as possible and pull myself inside. Once I'm in I make sure Ash is alright, then turn my head to thank Rylan. But as I turn my head Rylan wraps his arms around my shoulders and buries his head in the crook of my neck. I hesitantly wrap my arms around him. I feel as if my skin is on fire and I love it. "Good to see you again" is what he whispers in my ear making my heart flutter. He pulls away. I miss his touch now.

"So what's the address?" He asks me staring at the GPS built into his car. I recite it to him and soon we're off driving towards Mommy's house. I'm confused. Why does my body react that way when he touches me.
