Rylan rolls his eyes before responding. "Yeah, no shit Sherlock that's her." He walks over to chair in the corner of the room.

"Wait! Roxie is her?!"

"What do you mean I'm her?"

"Rye Bread!" Ash runs to Rylan jumping oin his arms.

"Kiddo! What've I missed still like planes I hope" Ash nods his head vigorously smiling wide.

"Roxie's the girl you've been crying over all week!"

I snap my head to Rylan but, he's looking away. "You were crying over me?" He looks back over and for half a second I swear I saw a hint of.........something, I'm not exactly sure what.

He quickly defends himself. "What! No! It's just a figure of speech!"

Danny looks at us both ashamed. "Nope not happening, I'm not going to be that friend in between you two! This is what we shall do." He gets and grabs Ash. "We'll be outside when you've worked out your problems is when you'll be allowed to come out."

We look at each other neither of us ready to do this. But it has to be done.

After about five minutes of just silence I decide to speak up. "So..."

"Why?" Rylan looks at me with sad eyes.

"What?" I'm lost what does he mean, why?

He scoffs and looks back out the window. "Why did you leave me? Why did you say it couldn't work? When you know damn well it could have! I- We would have made it work." His voice is barely above a whisper.

I get out of my seat and I go and sit down on the floor I motion for him to come join once he's right in front of me I start talking. "Rylan look, you know I love Ashton more than life itself and the morning I told you, he had a dream that I left you for him and I wasn't there for him. I was falling into your trap too quick after knowing you for such a short time it scared me how much I cared about you.

"And I let it get to me and I was scared that was going to happen and he's my baby brother I'm all he has if I'm not there for him then who? So I stopped hanging out with you to focus on work because I have bills to pay and I have a child to watch. I can't do the things normal teenagers do, I have too many responsibilities and I didn't think I should be doing things that took me away from that. No matter how happy they made me. His happiness comes first way before mine. He's all I have. Do you get it know? Why I felt I had to do what I did?"

"Wait bills? You're all each other has? Where are your parents?" I look away from him I know I have to tell him but I'm scared. I already opened my big mouth though. He puts his hand on my check forcing me to look at him. "Roxanne. Tell me please."

I take a breath before I begin. "My mother died when I was eleven and I used to live in Los Angeles. My dad was one of the best lawyers in California one of the richest too. But after her death it messed up so bad he started drinking and drugs. But the drinking was worse he would come home late a lot almost everyday. He would beat me too all the time too at least twice a day."

"One day he came home but he didn't come to my room he went to Ashton's he was about to hit him but Ashton was only a baby so I stopped him. He yelled at me to leave and not to be there when he got back so I knew where he kept all his money and I took it packed a lot of clothes and diapers and most of Ashton and I's things and ran I bought train tickets to New York City then we took a bus to this New Hampshire but, when we stopped in this town for a break I though it was the perfect place to live. So I got our stuff and left. When I got here Mommy Tomasa took us in she's this sweet older lady that lives in southwest. We lived with her for awhile but then her kids thought she shouldn't have been wasting money, time, or energy on kids that weren't related to her so they forced her to kick us out."
