"Hey Earth to Blake," I hear and I snap out of my thought.

"Hmm?" I ask and I remember I'm with Lauren, my girlfriend. I stare at her. Her cute round face, blond hair, her shortness, her blue eyes. But those weren't the blue eyes that I wanted to be staring into. I knew that.

I still loved her and I can't let her leave without telling her that, so why won't I tell her that? Because of Lauren? I'm sure she would understand, but I don't want to hurt her like I hurt Lexi. I caused so much pain with her and I don't want to do it again, but isn't that what I'm doing by not telling her I want her still?

We've been through much to just let it go if we both still love and want each other.

"What are you thinking about?" She asks me, but I can't tell her.

"It's nothing really," I brush it off and grab the remote for my TV to change the subject.

"I can tell something is bothering you, Blake. Is it Lexi?"

I can't just lie to her like this, so I just don't say anything.

"Blake it's alright. She's leaving and she wants you back right?" She asks and I keep my silence, giving her the answer to the question.

"Well of course you know I would want you to stay with me, but I would get it. You two have history and you love her. I can tell, so tomorrow if she leaves then I'll know, but if she doesn't I'll know then too," she smiles and gets up and kisses my cheek and just leaves.

That just happened, and then it felt right. It felt really right.

But I already told her that we couldn't get back together because we shouldn't right? But everything with her just feels better.

Why did this have to happen?

I stare out the window as I see everyone gathered on Lexi's front lawn and I can't bear to go out there to say goodbye to the girl that I love so much. That quirky, perfect, kind, funny, and just the right girl that I love.

Just go out there, Blake. Just tell her that you need her and that everything can be okay again and everything can be right.

But in my train of thought, I missed her getting into her car and leaving. No. This wasn't how it was supposed to end. There is supposed to be some big chick flick moment where I confess my love, but that's going to have to happen at the airport like most chick flicks actually.

I see Hunter walking towards my house where he parked his car and I run downstairs and grab my keys and rush outside.

"Hunter! What's airport is she going to?" I ask with a hurried tone and he looks surprised, but that doesn't matter. now.

There's like four airports in Houston and she only told me the gate number, not the actual airport.

"I think Intercontinental. Why? Wait are you going after her? Dude this is a big moment! Hurry! Hurry!" He exclaims rushing me into my car and we both get in and headed to George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

I may have run a stop sign so Hunter made me get out and switch seats with him so he could drive. I complied so this could go without fighting, so I could get there faster.

"Why do you drive so slow!"

"I'm going 50! You know, the speed limit?" He replies and I roll my eyes and continue to bounce my leg to distract myself.

"Why did you break up with Megan?" I ask him, trying to change the subject, but maybe this wasn't the best subject to change it to.

"We'll talk about that later, but for now you have to go get your girl," he says as he parks and I realize we are at the airport and my eyes go wide.

Can I do this? Should I do this?

"What are you waiting for! Go," Hunter pushes and I sigh.

"Do you think I should? Is this wrong? What about Laur?" I ask him, not sure of my decision anymore. What if it still doesn't work and I stopped her from going?

"Two questions. Do you love her?" He asks and I roll my eyes. Of course, I do.

"I'll take that as a yes because I already know the answer."

"What's the second question?" I ask because he only asked one.

"What are you waiting for? Let's go!" He says getting out of the car and I rush into the airport with Hunter trailing behind.

I get in there and immediately look for a map, so I can actually find her. I find gate B15 and leave Hunter at the map and I starting running, not looking back to see if Hunter is coming with me.

I go down to be and I instantly recognize Megan's bright blonde hair and Lexi's mom's deep blonde hair and I rush over there, breathing heavily as I get to them.

"Blake? What are you doing here?" Megan asks me, looking very shocked.

"Where is she?" I ask, ignoring her question.

"She left Blake. She thought you weren't coming, so she's gone, Blake."

"I'm sorry honey," her mom says and I  just stare at them, not believing that I actually missed her.

"So she doesn't know I'm here?" I finally ask after a minute of silence and her mom went to talk to the lady at the desk.

"And we aren't going to tell her, you got that? Don't hurt her more Blake."
