SKYLAR
Raeya threw the curtain open, plopping on the edge of my bed. She was all flustered, her cheeks were rosy and I could see her forehead was glistening with sweat.
"You okay Rae?" I asked, slightly touching my bandage on my arm. She awkwardly bit her lip and looked up at me.
"Yeah, I just ran into some guy," She stuttered, rubbing her hands up and down her thighs. "Literally."
"Was he cute?" I asked, raising my eyebrow. Raeya's eyes darted back and forth from me to Lucas, who wasn't even paying attention.
"Uh- no. He was British though," She laughed slightly and Lucas looked up.
"You can say he was cute Rae," He said, annoyed. He looked back down to his phone.
"I wasn't saying that to 'spare your feelings'," She said using air quotes. "I really didn't think he was that cute."
Lucas rolled his eyes slightly and stood up. "Whatever. I'm gonna take off Sky. Are you sure you are gonna be okay?"
I nodded, smiling at my friend. "Yeah. Have fun at work tomorrow."
I leaned up and wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. He smiled down at me turned to look at Raeya. "I'll see you."
"Yeah. I'll see you," She said awkwardly and side hugged him.
"And, whatever you guys decide to do, please let me know," He hovered for a moment before stepping out of the curtain, closing it behind him.
I raised my leg and kicked Raeya in the back. She squeaked and turned, looking at me. "What?"
"Was the guy actually not cute?" I asked again, wiggling my eyebrows.
"Oh no. He was gorgeous. An absolute God!" She swooned and leaned back, touching her hand to her heart. I laughed and leaned back in my bed. We erupted into a fit of giggles, leading into us just laughing at each other for no reason. We died down and she grabbed my hand, squeezing it.
"What are you gonna do?" She asked me, her eyes full of concern. I shrugged, shaking my head.
"I don't know," I answered, looking down. "I guess I could run-"
"No," She interrupted. "If you run I'm coming with you."
My mouth fell open, and I leaned forward. "No, you are not. You have college-"
"Sky, you are more important. I don't care about that anyway. Also it's summer," She resisted.
I looked at my best friend. She was practically sticking her lip out, pouting like a baby. Her big blue eyes were staring up at me, pleading. "Rae-"
"Look, how about we go on a road trip," She offered, talking with her hands. "We can drive around the country, long enough so you aren't in the same spot for him to find you. Then, we can move to Boston. That way, I can go to college, and you can go too."
The thought of touring the country made me feel a little bit at ease. Not staying in the same spot could help get Jack off my trail. And going to college was a dream of mine, since I graduated high school early with my GED.
"Please?" Raeya asked, breaking the silence and my thoughts. I tried to keep a straight face, but I couldn't help the smile that crept on to it.
"Okay, okay. I guess we are going on a road trip."

NIALL
"Mr. Horan, it looks as though you have a concussion, no fracture," My doctor said, looking at the X-rays, in his hand. He held the films up to the light and squinted. "Not a major one, though. You should be fine in a couple of weeks."
"Weeks?" I perked up. "I can't be out fur weeks."
"We need him to do every show," Liam debated, crossing his arms in his chair. The doctor eyed Liam and directed his gaze to me.
"Light and sound sensitivity are going to be a major side effect, so unless you can perform in a dark room with no sound, you are not going to be able to work," The doctor instructed. He nodded to Paul, and they stepped outside my examination room.
"Shit," I groaned, leaning back on the crunchy paper on the table. My head was still spinning from when Louis started spinning me around the hallway. "T'is is not happening."
"Oh but it is," Louis said, crossing his arms and leaning against the wall. The boys shot him a glare. "I'm sorry I didn't say anything about the luggage cart, Nialler."
"It's alright lad," I answered, keeping my eyes closed. I curled up on to my side, facing the wall. I just wanted to sleep.
"Boys," Paul called, opening the door. "Let's go up to Niall's room."
I rolled off the examination table and slumped into my wheel chair, with Zayn behind and ready to push. I rested my head in my right hand was we all walked from the room to the elevators, cramming into the same one. Paul pushed the button for the 6th floor and I took out my phone.
"No electronic devices, Niall," Paul warned, giving me his 'don't test me' look. I rolled my eyes.
"Fine," I huffed, crossing my arms. The doors dinged and slowly slid open, revealing a dimly lit hallway. Zayn pushed me to the right and we walked for a couple seconds before stopping in front of a room with hospital security guarding it.
"The other patient is already inside, so you guys are good to go," The tall dark haired one instructed, shaking Toms hand. The boys and I made our way into the room, looking around. I instantly sat up straighter when I noticed that the other bed was occupied by the brown haired girl that was getting stitches from earlier. She was curled up on one side, facing the door, as her bandaged arms was held close to her chest. Her eyes were shut lightly, her hair covering her face a little bit. She was really pretty.
A blonde girl was dozing off in a chair next to the bed, but she sat up when she heard us come in. She gave us all small smiles until her eyes landed on Harry, making her smile wider. "You again."
"Hello Raeya," Harry whispered, walking over to her. He started fumbling around in his pocket. "I uh- I found your phone on the ground from earlier."
"Oh thank you!" She gasped, taking the iPhone from Harry's hand. She stood and gave him a quick one-armed hug. She peered around Harry's tall frame and smirked. "Have you brought a whole party with you?"
"Oh, uh, this is Louis, Zayn, Liam, and Niall," Harry said, pointing to us all as we waved. "Lads, this is Raeya."
"Beautiful name," Liam said, walking over and out stretching his hand. She thanked him and shook it gently.
"Nice tah meet ya love," I said, turning my attention back to her sleeping friend. "Who is yer friend?"
"This is Skylar," Raeya sighed slightly, looking at her friend. "She had an... accident earlier."
"That's unfortunate," Louis stated, inspecting the bag of blood that was being pumped into her other arm. "Is she...alright?"
"Yeah, she'll be fine," Raeya nodded, sitting on the edge of Skylar's bed. She must have been out really cold, because she didn't even stir. "What happened to you, Niall? If you don't mind me asking."
"Concussion," I answered, hoisting myself out of my wheelchair and into my bed. "We got a little too rowdy at an airport."
She laughed. "Well I hope you get better soon."
"Us too," The boys said in unison, making me laugh uncontrollably.
