Beth
Daryl claims where 5 miles from the canyon. This whole trip has been driving me mad, I'm 95% sure that when we get there were going to be fully surrounded and there will be nothing we or anyone can do. Practically in a few days time were gonna be dead.
I keep trying to mention to Daryl "What about the rest of the group."
He replied "We'll find em' one day, again."
He sounded as though he didn't care as much as we got closer and closer to the canyon. This whole trip hurt because all Daryl could think about was that damn canyon. Everything else was tossed aside, like nothing in this world mattered to him. I just wished he could understand what I want, this whole trip is just so naive.
"We'll rest up here for now, wont be long till were there, living high and dry. " Daryl said with a smile on his face and getting ready to sleep.
"Okay, nice" I said very annoyed. He is doing it again. Thinking, thinking, thinking all about the canyon. Nothing else. This is what is getting me off.
"Are you okay" He said which was for a change, I hadn't of him say something like this which was slightly ever so different.
"No." I fully exclaimed in his face. "I'm not okay" I said aggressively. "This whole trip is driving me insane. Your wants, this and that. Your 40! I can't believe we still have to go here. Have you thought about the risks. You know what, I'll tell you my opinion. When we get there we will almost if not die. It is likely that the place will be surrounded by walkers. Now if you don't mind, I am going to rest up before I die tomorrow." I turned away from him and didn't look at him for the rest of the night.
"I'm sorry" Daryl replied, but I wasn't listening.
The Next Day...
I wake and Daryl is almost packed up, he never woke me. As if he was going to leave without me. I wouldn't imagine. He wouldn't. I sat up but it was like he completely didn't notice me.
"Daryl - " I started but the noise he was making it was too loud for him to hear me. He put his pack on, I just got up. I kept looking at him. He started to walk.
"Daryl!" I cried. But it was no uses, he didn't turn around. He kept on walking. I quickly gathered all my things. As fast as I could I put on my pack and tried to catch up to him as fast as I could. But it was no use. He was way far ahead. This distance between us was almost real, catching up with that nut head was impossible.
