I sat beside the fire that Daryl had made for me, "Last night was really something."

"Was it good enough" Daryl replied with his husky voice.

"I haven't moaned like that in years" I play with my fingers, looking at Daryl in a gorgeous way.

"Out of all the girls, you were the loudest." He smiled.

"What" I gasped and he started to laugh eventually I joined in on laughing and it was all okay.

Hours later...

"So, where are we going, we've been travelling almost forever. And I still think were going nowhere" I asked Daryl.

"When I was a little kid I always dreamed of going to one place in the US." Daryl replied.

"What was that" I replied eagerly.

"The Grand Canyon." There was a silence for a moment while we walked.

"Are you sure you still want to go there." I asked him with a very worried tone.

"It's been my dream since I was a little boy, I was supposed to with my family. But, it was cancelled. We planned to go when I turned 15. We cancelled again, I never knew why, until I heard a big fight. When gangs, dealers started knocking up on our door step. Of course I still want to go." Daryl said passively.

"I was just worried, I don't know how many dead are there. How many living are there. Either way it could go horribly wrong" I said trying to sound worried but calm.

"I don't care were going there, even if I just get to see a glance." He started to walk faster and I slowly fell behind. I hope I didn't offend him. It is his dream after all, we should make his dreams come true. I'll be supportive, if this what he wants I'll help him. We'll because, I love him.

"Say when we get there, whats the first thing were gonna do" I catch up with him and smile.

"Well over look the canyon, on the balcony" Daryl began. "And I can't forget. After that, I'm pretty sure there will be an abandoned resort. In that abandoned resort well sleep in the best room available and live like kings and queens." Daryl said passionately.

"I can't wait" I say smiling, was I really smiling, was I really happy. Did I really want to risk my neck for something that might go hay wire? Daryl does, I'm just afraid of whats gonna be left there. From what I remember it was a pretty iconic place, who knows there could be a hole herd of walkers there, its like Daryl is so consumed by this dream that he's forgotten the entire risk and amount of walkers there will be.

"You alright" Daryl asked me as we approached a small abandoned town.

"Yeah, yeah. I'm good, just do a lot of thinking sometimes" my reply was as if it was rushed.

"Lets stop here for a bit, rest, I'm worried about you, it isn't a real dream if your not there" He stopped walking. He put his large and dirty hands on my shoulders. He then continued one hand on my neck and kissed me.
