Mandy told me that her and Dylan are chipping in to buy Dylan an extra ticket for the concert! So now there will be 4 of us going! Kade, Mandy, Dylan, and I. Wow, does Kade's truck have an extended cab? If it doesn't, the bags in the box of the truck might have some company!
I wish my parents weren't so strict! Mandy and Kade's parents don't care what they do! My Mom is not ok with the 4 of us going to the concert without "adult-supervision". COME ON!! I mean yes it's the 21st Century. Yes, it's a cruel world with cruel people, but let me have some responsibility for once! I have to practically beg her to let me hang out with my friends. Yeah, there are parents a lot more strict than mine, but it's just so frustrating!
I finally worked out a compromise with my mother. I have all of these restrictions and requirements just to be able to go to the concert. This concert is a once in a lifetime deal here, I'd do anything to go!
1. I can only have my phone when I'm out of the house.
2. I have to have at least a B in every class when it gets to be a weeks away from the concert.
3. I have to be in bed at 8:30 every night. 10:30 on weekends.
4. I have to do a lot more chores and responsibilities around the house.
5. I can only hang out with friends once a week.
