Chapter 14

I awoke to the sound of people talking. I think I'm still in the hospital. I opened my eyes, and this time I could see just fine. I was in my same hospital room, and I could see a doctor outside my door.

I felt something cutting into my wrists. I started to lift my hand closer to my face, but I couldn't move them! I sat up to see what was going on, and I saw that my hands were tied down to the rails of the bed!

My eyes shot over to the door, and stared down the doctor. I wanted to know what was going on! This is a hospital, I'm not being kidnapped or raped or anything, am I?!

A few minutes later, the doctor still had not came in, but he was still standing there. I cleared my throat, and I said, "Hello?"

No answer. No movement.

I tried again, this time a little louder. "Hello?"

Again, no answer it movement or anything.

Ok Melissa, just stay calm. You remember that singing to yourself can help almost anything! Alright, let's try that!

"Helloooo? Hello Mr. Doctor! Could you please come here? Hello, hello, hello! This is Meliss-"

"Ahh Melissa! You're awake!" The man said.

"Yes, Hi Doctor. I was wondering why my hands are tied to the bed." I stated

"Well, I don't know of you remember this, but yesterday you were on some pretty strong medication and that caused you to do things that you wouldn't normally do."

"Oh, what did I do that was that bad?"

"Melissa, you were attempting to attack a female nurse with a scissors from your bedside table."

"Oh my goodness! I am so sorry. I cannot believe that medication could do that to me! Will there be a time for me to ever apologize to her? I feel so bad for what happened!"

"Of course there is. But first I will release your poor hands, and then I will see if she is still here."

He came to my bedside and untied me, he gave me a warm gentle smile, and then he walked into the hallway.

My hands felt so refreshed to be loose! They were a little red and swollen.

I heard the door open, and I looked up to see a blonde nurse. She was absolutely beautiful, she looked fairly young too. I'm guessing she was about in her mid 20's.

"Listen, I'm so sorry about what happened yesterday! Even though I don't remember anything, I feel so bad. I hope I didn't hurt you or anything!"

She gave me a sweet smile, so that told me she forgave me and was alright.

"It's fine Melissa, it has happened to me before! That medication sure is a wild one!"

"I'm sure it is! Could you please do me a favor and call my Mom. I really want to know why I ended up in here in the first place!"

"Sure! I will do that right away!"

"Thanks so much! By the way, could I get your name please?"

"My name is Caroline, I've been your nurse ever since you've been here."

"Ok, thank-"

I was interrupted my Caroline's cell phone. She looked at her phone and smiled.

She said, "I better take this." She said with her gorgeous smile. She walked into the hallway, leaving me alone again!

Hmmm, I wonder who she is taking to right now...
