Hey readers! I am SO sorry that I couldn't update when I said I would! I feel horrible! 😞 Well this chapter is kind of short compared to the last ones..
Well, here it is!(sorry it was late!!!!!)

*Melissa's POV*

YOU'RE WHO?!?!" I screamed into my phone! Did Luke Bryan seriously just answer my phone call?!
"This IS Luke Bryan. But darlin, I think you may have the wrong number."
"I have no idea! Do you know a Caroline?"
"Yes ma'am, she is my wife."
"You.. Your.. Your w..wife?"
"Yes. I'm sorry, I'll have to cut this short. My kids made a big mess in the kitchen. I'll tell Caroline you called. Good-bye"
"Bye!"

I clicked end call, and I completely flipped. Like totally flipped. You haven't seen anyone fangirl, until you saw what I was doing right now!

I needed to shower, so I decided to fangirl more in the shower!

After I dried off, I looked at my phone. I had a missed call from Caroline!

HOW COULD SHE NOT TELL ME SHE WAS MARRIED TO LUKE BRYAN?!?!

I just put my phone on the sink in the bathroom, and changed, put makeup on, dry my hair, and shave my legs.

I heard my phone ring, and Caroline's picture was flashing on and off on my screen.

I answered it.

"Hello?"
"Hi Melissa--"
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THAT YOU WERE MARRIED TO LUKE BRYAN?!?!"
"Melissa I can explain! I really wanted to tell you, but I wanted to make sure out friendship was very stable and solid first! It's not that I don't trust you, I do! But being married to a country superstar is kind of big deal! I didn't want you to get all excited about Luke, and then forget about me. That's what I was afraid of. It has happened before with past friends. But if it makes you feel any better, I was planning on telling you tonight! But I'm really sorry that you had to find out this way. Is there anyway I could make it up to you?"
...wow she's so sweet!
"Well there might be something."
"Oh! I'll do anything! What is it?"
"Umm, my family is throwing me a welcome home/birthday party in a few hours--"
"Of course I can come! Do you want me to bring Luke and our kids?!"
"OHMYGOSH! Yes!!! Thanks so much!!! This is going to be the best night ever!!!"
"You are welcome!"
"Oh and Caroline, I promise not to get too overwhelmed with meeting Luke."
"I understand! Will you text me your address?"
"Yep, I'll do that! Bye!"
"See you soon!"

As soon as I ended the call, I texted Caroline my address. I'm so excited!!! I hope I can keep my promise to her! This is going to be so hard!
