EARLY LIFE:
Before she was sent to the ground, Iris Warren was born in the Factory Station of the Ark on September 25th, 2131. She was raised in outer space by her mother (Gail Warren) and father (Will Warren), more so her father (her mother worked a lot and didn't make an effort to see her.) Will worked as a craftsman, Gail worked as a tailor; each not making a lot of money.
Iris grew up with her best friend, Rosalie Harrison, by her side. The two were nearly inseparable their entire life of knowing each other. And once Iris was locked up, Rosalie went to great depths to get her best friend out of her cell — even going so far as to assault Gail Warren in an attempt at forcing the woman to tell the truth about Iris's arrest. Her pans failed, however, and Harrison was dealt with the punishment of lockup. Both Iris and Rosalie were reunited once on the ground and their great bond continued to grow profusely.
On Iris's fifteenth birthday, her parents couldn't afford to get her a present. Thus, her father had stolen an expensive pendent, gifting this item to her. Iris was extremely happy, until three guardsmen busted through her door, arresting her father for theft. Will was floated the same day and Iris was left with her bitter mother to take care of her. Gail was upset and sad about her husbands death and starting taking her pain out on her daughter, and drinking heavily. Eleven months later, her mother got questioned about stealing moonshine. Even though she was guilty for the crime, Gail threw Iris under the bus. The fifteen year old got arrested, being thrown into the Sky-Box until her eighteen birthday arrived and her (false) crime was to be reviewed by the council, deciding whether she would be released or floated to her death.
Inside the Sky-Box, Iris was placed inside a cell with Jonathan Murphy; another self pitying teenager whom was quite possibly the exact opposite of the girl. After living with each other for almost a year, the two had a breakdown, spilling their tragic life stories to each other which brought them closer as friends. Although they blatantly shared barely any similar interests, the two found trust in one another and continued to be friends on the ground.
PERSONALITY:
Iris Warren is a loving teenage girl, whom tends to be naive at times. She is very friendly and likes to socialize with everyone. Although she's had a troubled past, Iris doesn't like to dwell and whine about her unhappiness to others. She is sweet, cooperative, and fair minded, and likes to give people chances. When in conflict, she tries to view all sides of the story to get to the bottom of the mishap and resolve any, and every, issue. And without choice, the Warren girl tends to care about the feelings of everyone around her and worries about others a lot.
