The quiet creek of the door opening woke me from my soft slumber. I was to tired to open my eyes to see the visitor(s).
"Welcome, again." A familiar voice whispered. "She's just asleep on the sofa."
"Ahh, yes. She is definitely special!" It was George Grey.
I had to be polite and wake up, I was wearing the same clothes from yesterday so I hoped out of the sheets and picked up my bag and found the bathroom. I changed into a grey and black jumper with blue jeans.
Gracefully I jumped in front of me Grey, leaving my bag where it was perfectly placed before.
We shook hands and I greeted him.
"Well Lola, I guess today you shall find out your gift!" I thought Alex was more excited than I was. I gave him a warm smile to show that I was glad to.
"Hi." A awkward voice came from Laura coming down the stairs." I'm off from the hospital today!"
"Maybe you can come with us then when we find out Lola's gift." Offered George Grey.
"Yeah sure!" Grateful for her offer she agreed.
"Speaking of gifts what is yours Laura?" I was curious now. After I said that she ran towards me and in a blur a small bird was flying around my head. "Awesome!" In another blur a big fluffy dog stood loyal next to me.
Still in her dog form we walked out into the gloomy street to the woods only a few minutes away.
After a long time testing things out and almost the sun was beginning to rise we established that my gift was that I could get in others mind and tell them what to do.
I made Alex walk into a tree, Grey into his werewolf form and Laura back into a human, I was glad to have her back instead of being replaced by a dog.
We ran back to the house happy that I found my gift.
By that time I was hungry, so I closed my eyes and used my powers to send Alex to fetch me a drink. He brought back a dead deer and I greedily sucked the rest of its life out till it was shrivelled up and had no sight of moisture left in the thing.
Grey left and I was bored.
"What do you guys do during the day?"
"Well we have had our share of werewolf blood, so we just do what average humans would." Exclaimed Laura. Obviously I hadn't drank werewolf blood yet so I guess I better find something to do.
"Lola." Alex had just been sat there and playing with his thumbs. " have you heard of the lone wolf?"
"No..." I guess it was story time then, just like when I was young.
