I had forgotten about my leg after the incident I had with the blood. I looked down but... the blood had stopped and there wasn't a scare in sight.
"My leg, it's healed?" I said it under my breath but Alex obviously heard me as he replied.
"Lola you are not human anymore."
"What! What Do you mean?"
"Be quiet, you are drawing attention." Be quiet? How could I be quiet when he just said I wasn't human?
"I will tell you at home. Just not now."
"Fine." I said it as sarcastic as possible. I had so many questions and he told me to be quiet!
We walked out of the brightly light hospital in to the windy and dark parking lot. Although it was windy I couldn't feel the cold. We walked up to a big car with the words Addison Lee on the rear windscreen.
"Nice car."
"Thanks."
I got In the comfortable car and kept hush just in case he decided not to tell me when I got home. No music, no conversation just the hum of the Addison Lee.
I couldn't handle the silence I just hated it! "Who signed me out?"
"My sister." Great, back to the silence.
I started to hum the tune of shout out to my ex by little mix.
Immediately he told me stop. I guess singing/ humming is not my strength.I started to fidget I couldn't handle it. I was tapping my foot. Tap... tap... tap.
Finally, Alex pulled up to my apartment block. He walked me to my apartment and fiddled the keys into there special locks. Alex opened the door for me, such a gentleman.
"Thank you for the lift."
"Start to pack. Your going to come and live with me and my family."
Water glazed my eyeballs being reminded of my mother. I blinded hard to remove the moisture on my eyes.
My mother had died of cancer she had to battle it for many years but soon she became weak and fragile and finally lost to the horrible disease. As for my father he left me and my mother when I was only six. I haven't heard from him since. Not that I want too.
"Why?"
"Like I said before you are no longer human."
"So are you going to tell me what exactly I am?"
"I, Laura, my family and you are vampires."
