"It's your birthday in a couple months, babe." Mark says to me. "You excited?"
"Hell yeah I am. 18! I'm legal, baby!"
"Oh no no. You're legal for me and me only." He kisses me and laughs. What did I do to deserve him? What did I do to deserve the friends I have? I love them all so much. It's my 18th birthday in April and they promised me the "best day ever" after all I've been through. I don't deserve the people I have. I'm way too mean, way too... me. No I'm not perfect. No I'm not the most beautiful. I have so many flaws and they seem not to care. This is why I'm so appreciative.
