CHAPTER 13.
I couldn't even look at him. All I could do is look down, shocked. I mean, here I was, just turning 18 with a baby on the way. I burst out into tears and reached for Chresanto's arms.
"Baby, I'm so sorry. Wha-what am I gonna do..?" I sobbed.
"No no no. Don't cry. You didn't do anything, baby. In fact, it was me. Let me explain."
"I'm listening" I sniffled.
He took a deep breath. "Okay. So that night, I came to a conclusion that I want to be with you for a really long time, mi amor. (God, he was doing it again) So, I guess you could say I planted a seed. I know we can be great parents to this baby. I have faith in us. We'll have the cutest little family." He smiled at me and wiped my tears.
"God, I love you. But you should've discussed this with me beforehand. We'll always be together, love." Abortion was not an option for me. I had a human being growing inside of me and it was not my duty to take its life. Santo and I were going to prepare for our first born child, sacrificing a normal young-adult life. With him, it was all worth it.
