Shout out to lightningshitstorm , my co-author and cover maker and best friend :) I hope you like this chapter :)

The wet feeling of her lips touching mine felt so good, it was better than the WHOLE dinner. My cheeks were as red as a tomato; the same thing happened to Livia, blushing, the feeling was so good that I almost fainted. Nelle strolled into the living room and gasped before retreating back upstairs. Livia and I both lay on the couch together, there wasn't much space but we managed. I was laying down with my hands behind my head thinking to myself about everything in life, why would she kiss ME? We weren't even together YET, my thoughts were broke with slumber, and today was the happiest day that I have ever lived.

I woke up and Livia wasn't next to me, instead she was in the kitchen making herself a sandwich. I couldn't help but smile comparing her to how lazy I could be at times. She turned towards me and turned back, and then she took a double take to see if I was awake. She smiled and went back to work on her sandwich. I got up quietly and slowly tip-toed behind her.

"BOO!!!" I shouted and as I put both of my hands on her shoulders making her flinch and almost screaming in fear. I laughed my head off as she playfully slapped my cheek. We were then both laughing, since we were laughing Nelle ran down the stairs faster than a cat does while being chased by a dog.

"What's wrong?' Nelle shouted seeing us both laughing our heads off like psychopaths, we both shook our heads signaling that there was nothing wrong and she sighed while walking back upstairs. We both laughed even harder seeing how worried she was.

Someone knocked on the door and Livia went to open it, before she opened it she tried to calm herself from all the laughing. She cleared her throat then unlocked and opened the door. There were two tall men with black suits on; they had their hands connected behind their heads. They both had those 'you can't see where I'm looking' glasses on. They didn't say a word but instead just pointed towards me. I got up and walked towards the door in silence. They pointed towards their black van and mustarded me to go, there were two police cruisers so I knew it must have been some sort of law enforcement. I hugged Livia goodbye and strolled towards the van, there was another man there who opened the door to their van. Inside there were four seats and a pair of gun racks with what I presume is M4's. The door locked and the vans motor roared to life and then the van started moving. I was nervous at first but later I had a safe feeling.

Two of the guards were rambling about someone named 'officer Rufus'. They made him sound like a big tough, the man they were talking about had never lost a fight, and they were telling stories about how he imprisoned three mafia leaders in ONE day. It seemed fake but I wasn't the man to judge, I didn't know the guy.  The van finally came to a stop and the driver and passenger seat doors opened and closed at about the same time, and then only after my door opened and they lead me out, we walked into a big glass building with a sign that read 'CIA'. I was led by two different guards to an office with a nameplate on the door that read 'officer Rufus', the door was only opened and I sat down in front of a big wooden desk while there sat a big tough red-head with a grey suit and a bullet resistant vest that anyone could see. His elbows were on the table and his hands were linked together, I couldn't see but I heard his foot tapping on the hardwood floor.

"So champ, by any chance do you know where your mother is right now?" his voice was hoarse, it sounded like he had been  sick. He raised his left eyebrow waiting for a response. I stuttered trying to get the right words out of my confused mouth.

"N-No, S-She insisted that she would come back to get me l-later..." I mumbled, worried about ANYTHING he was about to say. He raised his other eyebrow and yielded his notebook in his right hand and started writing down things that I didn't dare read.

"Hamm... so I think that you should stay at the station for a while, when we catch your mother we'll let you stay with your friend. Is that okay with you?" the big man said with a slight tone of happiness behind his hoarse voice. I rapidly nodded my head in agreement even if I would rather stay with Livia. "So could you follow me, we're going to change your clothes and get you a room in the station." he got up and walked towards the door to open it while leading me out of the office.

We marched over to the elevator and hit the button to drop down to floor twenty-one, we were on floor fifty-seven so the elevator dropped fast, I almost yelped when it first moved. Along the way we also stopped at forty-three and thirty. I stepped out of the elevator and followed the officer into a room that read 'child protection' in big black bold letters. He pushed open the door and I stepped inside. There were several other kids with scars like me, I felt like I was with other people like me, it felt good knowing I wasn't the only one.

They handed me a bright green shirt and pants of the same color , they explained that it was to know if the person was a part of the child protection section. They would arrest any kids that don't wear the shirt unless they had parents with them. I was in juvenile when i was eleven, i stole five hundred dollars from the bank. I swear to god that it wasn't my fault, i was commanded to by my mother, we were desperate and poor so we had no choice. I was in 'prison' for several hours before my mom baled me out with the rest of the money she had, we were even more broke than before.

I took a shower before putting on the soft cotton clothes that they gave me. I was able to spend time with the other kids and get to know them. They all went through hard things like i had been through.

I sat down On a green chair, in front of the chair there was a big round table with more green chairs surrounding it. Then a small school-like bell went off. It sounded about the same as the one in my school. Then all the other children ran over towards the table I was already sitting at. The police were walking over to the table with three boxes of pizza, there was pepperoni, Hawaïen and cheese. Hum... witch one should I choose? I thought to myself. Before I could make a choice all the pizza was gone besides one slice of cheese. I guess I'll take cheese...

After I finished my single slice of pizza, I took a glass of coke with two little spheres of ice and a red straw. I finished the drink and went to talk with some of the other kids. They were playing board games and some electronics. I was walking over towards connect4 to try to play with someone just as the police asked me to come over. I groaned and walked towards the officer.

"Hello... jasper? So we found your mother...
