Chapter 2: (kittvers.) The news.

MaCaron dropped the envelope with ease. As she did, the queen brought it toward her with her front paw, and opened it.
"....isn't this interesting,..." The queen muttered, while tossing the envelope to her side. "You may go now Miss Berry. But before you do, can you do me a favor?"
"Of course Miss!" Chirped MaCaron politely. "Can you please tell Miss Topaz Cream to report here?" Queen Ivory looked at MaCaron nervously. "Yes M'am.", MaCaron went out of the throne room, and started running down the hallway that lead to the front yard. MaCaron pushed open the door, and ran to the orange birraccat, named Topaz Cream. "MISS TOPAZ,-MISS TOPAZ, MISS TOPA-" MaCaron was cut off by an orange paw swatting at her face, its claws making a cut in her cheek.
"What do you want, Berry?" Topaz spat with venom in her voice. MaCaron whimpered, and put a paw to her cheek. She pulled away to see a tiny amount of off-white colored blood. "Q-queen I-Ivory asked me t-to come g-get y-" MaCaron was once again cut off, this time she was kicked in the side. "Tsk. Next time don't be so damn annoying. Got it mis-match?" Topaz left MaCaron lying on the ground, as she walked away.
MaCaron knew to what Topaz was referring to. The Birraccat had rare eyes, one eye being a vibrant green and the other being a light turquoise color. MaCaron stood up, being slightly in pain and sighed. She started to walk back inside, and as she did- Topaz burst out of the throne room-and looked back, continuing to yell at the queen. "FACE IT, I'M THE BEST GUARD! YOU'LL BE NOTHING WITHOUT ME! YOU POOR EXCUSE OF A QUEEN! YOU'LL PAY, YOU ALL WILL!" Topaz ran towards MaCaron, and briefly slid pass her.
