"nobodys ever called me that." tyler muttered, running a hand through his messy locks. "I was building up the courage." josh said. tyler felt so normal around josh, and it wasn't even awkward. he hasn't felt these many butterflies since his elementary crush, brendon urie, told him he loved him. now that was the past of course, only a pigment of his imagination as joshua grabbed his hand tightly in his. "i-is it bad I'm falling for you?" tyler said softly, gripping at joshuas hand. "no, because I'm falling for you too."

tyler ran a hand through his hair, looking at joshuas pink locks as they blew in the breeze. he hummed quietly he tune of oh ms believer as if josh actually would listen. josh layed his body back, still having his hand locked with tylers. "I want to hear you sing." tyler grew slightly anxious, as to nobody had ever heard him sing, except for his sister madison. "n-no you won't like it." tyler stuttered. josh felt himself growing more and more comfortable with the shy boy. "I bet I will, go ahead. I won't laugh if you mess up." tyler shifted to look off into the night sky, facing away from josh so he couldn't stare at him.

"oh ms believer, my pretty weaper. your twisted mind-is like snow on the road. your shaking shoulders prove that it's colder-inside your head, than the winter of dead." he stopped short, humming the rest of the tune that josh had fell so inlove with so fast. "y-you're so-"

"bad, I know." tyler looked at him with doe eyes, and soft freckles that littered his cheeks and nose. "n-no you're amazing. I'm speechless, to be honest-I wouldn't mind hearing that more often." tyler cheeks burned slightly as the boy complemented him more and more. "a-and your hair, I just want to run my hand through it, a-and hold your hand whenever you're alone or in need of a friend." a friend. tyler felt friend zoned. he sighed quietly.

"y-you don't like me, do you?" josh looked at him, his now, glassy eyes were brimming slightly as he placed a hand on his cheek. "I really do like you, tyler joseph, and I will until the day I die." tyler blushed, letting the tears slip out like waterfalls. josh wiped each one with his thumb. he was interlocking his fingers with tylers by now, and he was running his hands along his soft, pink colored cheeks. "I don't want to leave the beach, but it's getting cold." tyler said, now looking up at the stars. "I'll be right back-" josh said before standing and sprinting to his car. he grabbed a black hoodie that had the words 'ohio' in a weird font.

he ran back down to tyler, handing him the over-sized sweatshirt. tyler took it, sliding it over his thin body. it was so big that it drooped to his knees. he hummed quietly as the waves washed closer to them sending goosebumps over their skin. josh watched as the boy admired something so deadly. the waves. he watched them wash up and crash into things. tyler didn't know what they held, or how much water there actually was-but he was happy to be there, enjoying it with josh.

"h-have you ever kissed someone?" tyler turned to see josh licking his lips slightly, wetting the pink surfaces. "I-I haven't" tyler said. In all the years he's never had his first kiss. as embarrassing as it might seem, joshua didn't care. "that's okay-I could be.. if you'd want." tyler watched as josh fiddled nervously with his hands. "a-are you sure?" josh furrowed his eyebrows. "why wouldn't I be?" they grew closer and closer. "because what if I mess it up?" josh smiled. "It's easy I'll show you." josh placed his lips to tylers, feeling the soft surface press against his. tyler moved naturally, touching his hand to joshuas face.

tyler pulled back. "I probably messed it up-" josh shut tyler off again by pressing them back together. tyler gasped slightly, but relaxed into the sweet kiss. joshua pulled away, this time admiring tyler in the now, moonlight. tyler hummed softly. "I-I like you." tyler said once again, making josh giggle. "I like you too, daisy." tyler blushed, burying his face in the palm of joshuas sweater.

"I'm really tired now actually, can we leave?" tyler asked, smiling. josh nodded, helping tyler off the blanket. he picked it up, holding tylers hand the whole way to the car. he opened his door for him, and then putting the sandy blankey in the back of his car. once he got in, he noticed that tyler had already fallen asleep.

a suttle blush arose on the boys cheeks, he pulled out of the parking space and drove back to his house.

you fell asleep in my
car I drove the whole time
but that's okay i'll just avoid the holes so you sleep fine
i'm driving here i sit
cursing my government
for not using my taxes to fill holes with more cement

once he pulled into his drive way, he picked tyler up out of the car, carrying him into his house. he took him to the bedroom, covering his cold body in the warm sheets. josh showered, snd the joined the boy. tyler felt joshuas presence in his sleep, cuddling up next to him. josh never felt so much happiness.
